DO NOT BOOK.
Absolutely appalling experience. Booked and paid for an overnight stay at this hotel far in advance for an overnight layover at JFK. After traveling for over 24 hours, I took a taxi to this location only to find out it is no longer in operation. a security guard and medical care facility check in host informed me that the hotel was shut down a while ago by the city and guests are no longer able to stay. They said an email went out informing all customers and travel booking sites a couple weeks ago, including booking.com but I was the 4th person to show up that day with the same issue from booking.com. Due to booking.com not informing me of this, I was stuck outside what seems to be now some sort of drug rehabilitation center/halfway house in a very dodgy area of Queens by myself with all my luggage at 1am. As a solo female traveler, I felt this was a very unsafe situation. I immediately contracted booking.com via phone and spoke to a minimum of 4 different people because either they couldnt assist me, or said they were working on it but I got disconnected after being on hold. Afrer standing outside for over an hour I finally got through to a supervisor. The reason they said they couldnt help is that they needed confirmation from hotel reception that they can no longer accommodate my booking. I tried to explain that not a single person who works at the hotel is there and will not respond because the hotel is no longer in service but they insisted on waiting at least 30 mins to hear back from them via phone or email. I stated that I was in danger and they were putting me in an unsafe situation but they did not see the urgency in that and continued with their policy, even though it had been way longer than 30 mins.

Driver was a sour-puss, wouldnt put luggage in back of van and left it on sidewalk for me to lift into the van. Get to the property and informed the lady on desk that I had been trying to reach them for one hour She informs me she was busy and doesnt answer the phone if shes assisting a guest who is standing in front of her WHAT!!!
