Disappointing
The parking is apparently done by reservation- which nobody told us so we could not park our rental car. We were told to find parking in the street- which I did at 2 AM

I thought shuttle was available but was told it wasn’t- only to a train.
Hotel was very run down. It was the roughest stay I have ever had at a Hampton inn. Felt dirty and worn.

Good value for the area. The free airport shuttle is a huge benefit--it can save $50-60 on taxi costs to and from the airport. Picks up and drops you right off along the Air Train, so you miss huge amounts of traffic in and out of the airport and you can take the free Air Train to your terminal in just a few minutes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was fine, comfortable bed.
The hotel is kind of old and needs some TLC. For example, some of the elevator floor lights were burned out and not replaced and I had to slam my room door to get it to close properly. The parking lot is badly overcrowded so it's difficult for couriers or taxis to get to you.

Disappointing
The room smelled really bad. The drain in the shower was clogged. There was no conditioner in the bottle on the wall. The hairdryer didn’t work. A wall in the room looked wet, and somewhat moldy. And the “free wifi” was terrible. The only thing you get is being close to the airport.

The place is crowded and totally understaffed
I stayed on the 12th floor and there’s no water at all! I’ve told the hotel staff and the answer I got was [We don’t have water on 12th floor and there’s nothing we can do!]
How shocking that is! I’ve never stayed in any hotel that doesn’t have water and still operate and charging customers full priced

Shuttle service to and from airport was excellent
On arrival, 2 staff to deal with several arrivees, we arrived early as our flight got in approx 10.30 so we were at hotel just after 11am and we knew check in wasn't available until 3pm, staff on duty said he would try and get us a room earlier if possible and would inform us as we waited in reception area, however from 2pm onwards several others who arrived after us were given rooms earlier than us, finally got room at 15.15hrs.
2nd point was while we were waiting, toilet facilities were required and unfortunately there was a problem with the water system and we had to use the facilities in the Marriot nearby, that was a pain but, we had no hot water for several hours and after being up since 4am the one thing we wanted was a refreshing shower which we couldn't have.
For a hotel of this stature, for me, this is inexcusable.
I appreciate it was unfortunate, but with a very busy hotel surely something can be done to ensure this doesn't happen in future

Quite pricey. Breakfast was very modest and with plastic utensils. The reception personnel were somewhat indifferent.
