The location is excellent
When we came in we had to ask for a room change (the changed us to a bit small room) because the heating was not working and it was going to take too long for an engineer to come. We arrived in NY at 06.00 am and got the at 15.00 hrs. We just wanted to finally have a room in order to be able to settle in. The second room felt some 50 sqf smaller ....

Had to wait 15 mins when tried to check in after long international flight as room had to be “ unblocked “ by manager
Ordered room service coffee at 530 am never arrived ! Reception staff seemed very tired

The furniture, doors, locks, and other woodwork require serious renovation after many years of use and inadequate repairs, and this is clearly visible throughout the room, on the walls (with many old, unused holes) and in some corridors. The bathroom door in our room wouldn't open fully because it hit the toilet seat. The pictures on the webpage must have been taken over 10 years ago. I wish the room rates, or at least the extra "property" charges, were lower

Breakfast and evening snacks were really good. Everything was clean, the gym was also really good. Great location.
I booked the best apartment they had and I got the view for another building than a city view. I wouldn,t complain if I paid twice less, but for that money I wanted both a nice apartment and a good view. The terrace was closed in the evening so I couldn,t anjoy the view neither from the apartment window nor from the restaurant. The toilet didn't flush, something was broken. If you pay almost a thousand dollars for a night, you expect something better.
