Wonderful
Amazing location, a warm climate, and a true sense of home from the moment you arrive—largely thanks to the genuine friendliness of the employees. Even if your room is on a higher floor, the elevators are impressively fast, so there’s hardly any waiting. My room was comfortable, impeccably clean, and offered a lovely view of the vibrant Broadway district.
There’s also a wonderful restaurant on the 23rd floor, with a spacious balcony overlooking the skyline. It offers complimentary breakfast, along with midday snacks and a light lunch. The overall atmosphere is exceptionally hospitable and welcoming, it truly makes you feel at home. Great value for your money!
Some aspects of the room could benefit from an update, such as the mirrors and the phone. I also had some difficulty communicating with the front desk. There is no coffee maker or kettle in the room, and amenities like coffee or tea are only available upon request.
Additionally, valet service is not provided. Guests are required to drive their car a couple of Manhattan blocks to a nearby garage that collaborates with the hotel, which can be quite inconvenient, especially when managing luggage. Unless you make multiple trips between the garage and the hotel, you’ll need to carry your suitcases yourself, as the hotel will only hold them once you return.

Position is excellent. Close walk to time square and central park. Subway entrance on the same street.
Front desk staff were very friendly.
Breakfast room was tiny. The 8am breakfast rush felt busier than times square on new years. Not to mention the dining chairs all had food stains.
Maintenance is lacking. Flickering lights, some plugs didn’t work. Safe batteries were dead. Rust in taps. Stains on carpets. Aircon not cooling. Not sure if this is a standard for New York but at New york prices these are basic expectations.

Location is great.
It is very old and outdated hotel, dirty old carpets, broken lamps, cracked walls. Very disappointed with the room quality.

Fair
Location was reasonable, near the park and close to the subway station. The hotel is around 10 mins walk from Times Square, and 5 mins from Central Park.
The hotel is clearly not a 5* hotel, and at best it is a 3.5*. Upon arrival, there was nobody at the reception desk and we had to wait 10 mins before somebody could check us in. The receptionist was helpful and apologetic, but clearly very overworked as the staff are stretched so thin. The room itself is a of mediocre quality - the hotel has only been refurbished superficially as the noise is so bad. You can hear all the traffic noise through the night despite being on floors 20 or above. I had specifically noted that our stay was to celebrate our wedding anniversary and in return, we received a room directly under the breakfast area. Housekeeping do not replace empty toiletries over the weekend, and dust and debris collects in the corners which did not appear to have been cleaned for some time. There is no noise insulation between floors or rooms so all of the commotion to setup the area from 5am is so loud through the room - vacuuming, trundling of trollies, the crashing of cutlery and the conversation of the staff. You can hear conversations entirely taking place in the corridors. There is no proper AC system and the only options are to have it off or to have warm air pumped in the room. The included facilities for which a very high fee is charged are a disappointment, particularly if you have any kind of dietary requirement. The vegetarian options are limited and the same each day, and any attempts to speak with staff in the breakfast hall are met with disdain. The late afternoon snacks are also very limited and unless you tip heavily, there is no service from staff in terms of obtaining drinks. Overall, we regret choosing this hotel for our stay and would recommend travellers to consider elsewhere.

Disappointing
Location
It was dated and worn. This is a 3 star hotel pretending to be a 5 star hotel. Not worth the price given the current state of property and the lack of amenities.
