Location is super close, 3-5 minutes walk to the amazing soho shopping and restaurants area. Near by subway and super close to the Holland Tunnel

My room has an unbearable noise coming from the air conditioner's pressurizer. It would turn on and off intermittently, sometimes in the middle of the night, waking us up, and sometimes very early in the morning when we woke up. I complained 5 times, the maintenance staff came to the room twice and always said it was fixed, but on the 5th time I gave up. They didn't change my room... In addition, the reception staff were very arrogant when I talked about the problem, kind of not caring or making light of it.

Location, room size, air con was great in the rooms, the amenities provided in the bathrooms
The elevators and the wait times involved. Very frustrating. Also the lack of lounge in the lobby. The hotel and rooms desperately need a renovation too

The location and the staff
The elevator system is insane and so inconvenient. Had to wait on each ride 20-30 minutes. The property was not cleaned and I saw a cockroach that the staff killed in front of us while waiting on the elevators on the 7th floor floor. The food is not up to expectations and it's now of lower quality. They definitely need to remodel and update the furniture. I have been staying in this property several times since January but every time I stay, I notice it is declining. However, they have an amazing staff and service.

Everything the staff were really friendly and the hotel is lovely. The lifts get alot of mentions in reviews however we didn't find them too bad, they just have an unusual operating system. Room was spotless.
Had to wait a while for the complimentary coffee to be refilled in the Mezzanine but it was a bonus as we weren't expecting any at all

Brilliant location of Spring Street
Trying the get from lobby to rooms and down again was so incredibly painful. On average about 15 minutes a trip.
Secondly the pool area should be adult only. With 6 kids under 8 splashing around yesterday was like a kindergarten.

The location was great. Front desk and doormen were very hospitable and respectful, HOWEVER, the hotel is extremely SLOW and needs serious development
THE ELEVATORS. EVERY SINGLE DAY it would take the elevator around 10-15 mins to reach you, such an inconvenience. Also services in general are just SLOW. I asked for a spoon and bowl and the woman told me straight up it would take 40 mins? Why? A bowl and spoon? Bellhop took around an hour to arrive. Again, why?

The elevator system and setup takes soo long to arrive to and from any floor. We nearly missed our driver because of the delayed arrival of the elevator, residents should be notified to consider that specifically when they want to check out.
