Elevators are the worst, takes 30’ to go down or up. Some front desk employees attitude. I think that at 600 per night is overpriced.I got an upgrade but the blinds in my room didn’t work.

My rooms in the past have been lovely but I stayed in a smaller room that felt like it was a bit old. Cabinets stuck, lots of dings and scuffs…just felt like it needed a refurbishment

One downside of the hotel is the elevators. There is always a long queue for the elevator when going down, and there is also a long waiting when going back up. which made it quite inconvenient.

Spacious rooms and good location in SoHo
Elevators were a disaster, the wait was insane for the number of elevators. They need to be programmed differently, it is not the Hilton on midtown to be that busy.
The TV was not connecting to my iOS device which is unacceptable for the amount of money I paid. The hotel appeals to people who think they need to spend a lot of money to stay in manhattan but is lacking the charm of the peninsula or the ritz. The rooftop is a joke.

The view from my room was amazing! Also, the location of the hotel was great for what we needed.
The only thing I would change is the service at the pool lounge. It was very slow.

Disappointing
Good location in SoHo. The room was quite large, especially for Manhattan.
There were no operating outlets anywhere near the bed and the lighting was complicated. At these prices you expect good and easy internet and recharge ability. Even worse was that the AC is fixed to hit you straight in the face all night on both sides of the bed. It’s past time for a redo.

My room has an unbearable noise coming from the air conditioner's pressurizer. It would turn on and off intermittently, sometimes in the middle of the night, waking us up, and sometimes very early in the morning when we woke up. I complained 5 times, the maintenance staff came to the room twice and always said it was fixed, but on the 5th time I gave up. They didn't change my room... In addition, the reception staff were very arrogant when I talked about the problem, kind of not caring or making light of it.

The location and the staff
The elevator system is insane and so inconvenient. Had to wait on each ride 20-30 minutes. The property was not cleaned and I saw a cockroach that the staff killed in front of us while waiting on the elevators on the 7th floor floor. The food is not up to expectations and it's now of lower quality. They definitely need to remodel and update the furniture. I have been staying in this property several times since January but every time I stay, I notice it is declining. However, they have an amazing staff and service.

The excellent location, the big windows and street view to Soho and the Hudson river
The elevator system and setup takes soo long to arrive to and from any floor. We nearly missed our driver because of the delayed arrival of the elevator, residents should be notified to consider that specifically when they want to check out.
