Most of the staff was great and helpful, the location is the best !
So expansive !!! Yet requires renewal, we were 4 guests in a suite- yet we chose to sleep on the floor cause the beds were horrible ! In a suite ! Which they added charges for. The carpet smelled of mold and I personally had a rash all over my face from the bedings- my local friend had to bring me bed sheets and medication for the rash ! It was bad. And ! They wanted to charge for a bottle of water in the room ! Shame on the low standard of this so called 5 star hotel. Some of the front desk personal were really rude borderline aggressive. We spent 10 days there so there were many opportunities to take care but they didn't! Lame ! For this price plenty of options around.

Amazing View over Central Park and Columbus Circle. The hotel is in a prime spot.

Over sensitive Fire Alarm - they provide a kitchen in the suites but unfortunately should you cook anything (I mean anything at all) the alarm will sound!

Very Poor
The location.
First of all, it’s definitely worth the money (we paid almost $10.000 ! ) and we were given a totally different room, not the one was presents on the pictures on the platform. I feel I was misled into buying something that was not matching to what was advertised.
When you pay that amount of money you except to get the room that is shown on picture. I booked the executive 1 bedroom suit city view. And the pictures were amazing. That was the only reason I booked. But when I got there, they give me a totally different room, and I had to ask and only after that they moved us on NEXT day (not on day of the check out) to the different room. Not same! But similar to. It had smaller window on one side and it was still not matching the picture. It’s a big Brand, and it’s a shame they do this to customers who pay such a big money to stay in your hotel.
Front desk staff and especially the Irish lady who I believe was a front desk manager is not capable to provide high level service. So I don’t recommend to anyone to book this hotel, you probably will be disappointed as us.
