The service was incredible. The staff and in room dining was off the charts. First time at a Trump hotel and was impressed (and my expectations were high).
Lo-flo showers like an average hotel. Come on Trump turn that pressure on!

The location is first class
The hotels and rooms are very tired and need refurbishment. Facilities are limited. For the price I expected a lot more.

A disappointing experience
We stayed at Executive Suite during our November visit to New York. First the pros, the staff was very nice, we had nice chat and we could of course leave our baggage at the hotel because our room was not yet ready. Location is fantastic, right by Central Park, very close to metro station. Pool and gym was also great, had a little bit of New York gentleman’s club vibe. The apartment was very spacious apart from bathroom that was really tiny. Now the cons, first of room wasn’t ready for all of us, I’ve made reservation for 3 persons and it was ready for two. After I went to front desk the staff prepared additional towels and bedding… but no additional slippers or bathrobe. Room wasn’t very clean, we found used (I think) ear cleaning stick and some buttons. There was visible wear on some furniture, also in cupboards. One of the lamps was not working and couldn’t be switched off, even after letting know the staff about it they hadn’t repair it and we had to take off the bulb ourselves because it was right in bedroom. The noice from the street was HORRIBLE, probably because huge windows had only 2 layers, luckily I had earplugs because I would definitely won’t be able to sleep. We had apartment on fifth floor so take this into account, It also was a little bit disappointing because of the views. Also I hoped there will be a nice restaurant or bar in the hotel with nice view but no, it’s on ground floor. But worst part was lack of heating, when I first entered the apartment I thought it needed some time to start working but no… during the night the temperature was 18 degrees Celsius (see picture) which was very uncomfortable also because bedding was very thin, I had to sleep in my hoodie. So overall for 1100 usd per night it was worse experience than in 3 star hotel that we stayed before in New York. Definitely not a 5 star experience and sadly we will not come back.

The room is spacious and great when traveling with kids. Full working kitchen.
Very clean.
Best location there is.
The extra bed is a sleeping sofa that was less comfortable than a real bed.

we are regulars and appreciate that we are always treated like valued guests and because it is a moderate size hotel staff get to know you
The entry is strictly controlled so you feel safe
Had a lovely view across central Park and it varied throughout day with beautiful sunrise
excellent location being next to central park and the subway
Has excellent Gym with Technogym equipment and also a pool
we have never had any issues , and even though its a bit pricey for us we continue to stay as we know we will be looked after

Family of 4 in a large 2 bed suite that was brilliant. 10th floor and very comfortable with wonderful views of the park. Great value in comparison to other 2 bed suites. Also a small kitchen which was very useful with children.

The welcome staff and reception team at the front desk were amazing and responsive to all needs. I did visit the spa and felt it to be quite outdated, but adequate. It would have been nice to have a jacuzzi on the premises.
