Warm, charming vibe
Very old and didn't feel super clean - carpets old etc. Some staff friendlier than others. Lighting was either dim and yellowed or white washed.

Large, comfortable room and bathroom - much bigger than many NYC rooms! Very clean. Very good value.
More/better breakfast would be nice, but overall this is a very good place! Nothing I disliked.

Great location, easy to walk to major sites in Financial District
Room has basic amenities you need while travelling
Staff was friendly and helpful
Room was not clean - I found hair on surfaces and bathroom
Breakfast had limited option
Loud noise coming to the room around 5am, sounds like it came from machinery

Breakfast was pretty good with a waffle machine and small variety of pastries. Location and price were very convenient for our early morning trip to the Statue of Liberty the next day. Room size was OK for a family of 4. The staff were really nice and kept offering peppermint candy to my kids.
The only downside is that the room has the old humid smell.

Great location. Well appointed and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Appreciated the breakfast although I had limited options due to an allergy.
A perhaps small point, but the main breakfast area is quite small; the overflow space is significantly away from the food buffet, and was also being used for storage of non-food things. If they could run it more efficiently that way, it would be better.
