Reception staff was disturbingly evasive at check in. Attempting the bait and switch on the room booked. There was an additional $40 hotel fee not totally made obvious on the reservation. A bit below the normal Hyatt standards in terms of sercovecand accommodations.

Very lovely staff and very helpful when needing a couple of things to the room. They were also very helpful checking in and out. The bathroom was very clean and was just right for a girls trip where we spent most of the day outside the room.
As girls who were getting ready in the room doing makeup, hair etc, the lighting in the room was very poor. It was dark most of the time due to the lighting in the room as well as barely any natural light from outside. The room was quite small for the price and not ideal for being in the room for longer periods of time, I would definitely get the king room instead if going on a girls trip where you may want some extra room.

Location is good if you are going to Broadway Shows. Very near, easy access to Subway.
The furniture is damaged (leather peeling off headboard and footboard). Elevators were slow.
