Someone else's hair on the wall of the shower. Just plain gross and not what I expect from this hotel. Front desk staff on arrival distracted. Person at front desk who was handling my check in let another guest interrupt.

The location, staff and amenities were superb. Very clean hotel and rooms. So many positives about The Surrey.
The only complaint is that the beds and sheets were not as comfortable as you would expect for a 5 star hotel.

Good location. Bar cocktails were amazing
Arrived at 4pm and still had to wait one hour for room and later witnessed another guest experience the same. Snooty wait staff at hotel restaurant. Hotel sent maintenance to our room at 10:30 pm because a neighboring guest had problems w their water.

The staff was so cool, so friendly.
no, we loved everything abouut it. my wife descibed it as being 100 feet from Central Park and just 200 feet south of heaven.
