Disappointing
Location location. It’s central to the places/spaces we needed to visit
Did the bar change? It’s now called Cuna? The cocktail menu was absurdly small, mostly whiskey based. Too many bars in the city for us to sit and settle—so we left.
The bathroom in the room was filthy. The blow dryer was broken, sticky and covered in dirt and grim from over the years. The shade curtain was broken, so we couldn’t easily slide them open. The pillow they toss on beds is clearly aged and disgusting. The staff was less than accommodating. We got to the hotel past check-in and the room still wasn’t ready? This hotel routinely charges absurd pricing.
At $450+ a night. Certain amenities should be complimentary, bags should be brought into the room.
The room should be in immaculate condition.
I’m so tired of companies getting simultaneously greedy and lazy. And expected customers to just deal with it — Never staying here again. The last time I stayed here the two women at the front desk — one was yelling at the other. It was noted by all with an email from the hotel—No one did anything to make up for the headache. Other then like a 10% code. So weird. I’m over it. Time to check out somewhere else

Wonderful
Really lovely area . The setting , the restaurant Ambiance was very enjoyable. Really a very good hotel. Our third tome here and will come back.
Front desk sometimes is a little to crowded and the space somewhat tight. Other than that no problem at all.

Very Good
King size bed, east village location, nice bar & breakfast restaurant
Didnt know there was complimentary bfast coffee in the lobby - overheard the front desk tell someone else on our second day after we already bought coffee in the restaurant the first day and then went to order room service coffee the second day… point is, nobody told us. For the price of the standard, those details should be more consistent.
