Great location, front desk were helpful.
The room I stayed in was run down, the window AC unit was still installed in the window, which meant it was cold in the room (Mid November). There was an electric heater though, that did an ok job, but felt wasteful to have to run it all the time, to have a decent living temperature. The duvet wasn't that warm, so the heater had to be on all the time. Power plugs were worn, hard to get certain plugs to work with out some jiggling. Internet was ok speed wise, had some momentary glitches (would stop getting data for 30 seconds periodically), so I wouldn't recommend for online meetings. Mattress has seen better days.

Location is excellent. Value is good. Some staff were excellent
First night in room 807...we arrived to a chlorine or ammonia smell, which got stronger throughout the night. The next day our eyes were burning with slight breathing issues. House keeping verified issue and when we got back that evening, the engineer, house keeping and manager verified the smell was awful.
I asked the main manager to make the situation right...asked booking to help ... no communication to date. Roll the dice on this one but if something goes wrong, your health is at risk

Great location, 24hr reception
The first room I was assigned was extremely small, dark, and located next to the exhaust of the restaurant downstairs hence smelly. Bathroom was tiny and very old/ dilapidated. The second room was much better and seemed to have benefited from a more recent renovation. A/C is extremely old and noisy/ not very efficient. Very expensive (possibly because of UNGA / NY Climate Week)

The location was excellent! The hotel felt clean, safe, and welcoming. The room also was a decent size for New York. Three of us were able to stay in the double queen room comfortably. Further, the staff at the front desk was really helpful.
The building was on the older side. But for the price and location in NYC, it's a great deal.

Location was close to many attractions!
Hotel is Dingy, old, looks like a dorm.
Rooms are tiny, bathroom looks like a train bathroom. Bed said it was a Queen, but was a full. Temperature hot or freezing- no in between.

Location was good for the purpose of my visit
No water in the room only 2 plastic glasses. No coffee/tea maker or coffee available. Room was tired looking. Stainless steel sink in bathroom? One of the drawers in the wardrobe would not stay shut. No breakfast. No free coffee in lobby either, a small useless little shop in the lobby. Is this what one gets for what turned out to be $467 a night? Booking advertised $367 a night but taxes and fees brought the total to $467.

Check in and check out.
Staff was ok - couldn´t print a document as "they ran out of ink" - was the argument. And that was it. Not answering the front desk, so going down to ask for something, found 2 girls giggling, apologizing that they didn´t hear the phone.. Not very professional. Furthermore, no coffee machine in the room, coffee corner downstairs opens at 7 am, so if you start you day earlier, better pop over to Starbucks around the corner.
