Wonderful
Nice size room especially the bathroom; loved the water pressure and big towels. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location as we mostly were visiting around the Radio City Music Hall area; mainly walked around, but did have occasion to take Subway at one point which was also close by

Location is very good, staff were polite and helpful, very comfy beds and pillows
Bina were not emptied during a 4 night stay, bathroom is very small, issue with room keys but not much hotel could do

Poor
Very worn down rooms, no lobby, no breakfast option, no kettle in the room but you could buy hot water downstairs. Overall very unsatisfactory stay. I do not recommend as for that price you can find sth much better.

It's a great choice in NY. I was initially put off by the comments regarding the rooms, carpets and bathroom, but decided to book nonetheless. I don't regret it and would book again.
Big pluses
1. The room 510 was very quiet i.e. no noise from the street
2. Very clean
3. Bed is very comfortable
4. Reliable room service
5. Super friendly staff
1. There are some things that could easily be fixed like the shower head.
2. The sink in the bathroom is an interesting design choice and makes you think you are in prison, but it works.
In terms of price value it's as good as NY in that location can get. Just don't expect anything luxurious :)
Change the shower head. That's 20$ and would make a big difference in guest experience.

Great location
Had to keep asking everyday for towels as even though the room was booked for 4 people only two towels were always left. Even after asking multiple times for this to be changed, sometimes even had to keep going to reception to ask 3 times before getting them.
Room was very dated and the wardrobe / cupboards has a mould smell. The condensation on the windows also leaked onto the floor so the floor was damp every day.

Window of my room was very small and directly towards a sketchy service staircase. Also, AC wasn’t working in my room so I slept at 59 degrees

Location was good, easy to get everywhere.
Hotel needs updating, plug sockets hanging out of walls, air con broken, no tea/coffee making facilities in room.
Had to keep asking for more towels as we were family of 4 but were only given 2 towels, then 3 towels eventually got 4 towels on last day.
We had a 2 bedroom suite!!! living room area small only big enough for 2 people.

The staff were friendly.
The decor was in need of a refresh. The room was freezing because the window was broken. There were no drinks facilities in the room. My tv had no remote control. The bath tub was the most uncomfortable thing ever.

Exceptional
Staff were very friendly on arrival. They upgraded me to a larger room free of charge as one was available. It was very spacious, had an extremely comfy bed, modern private bathroom with a shower. Lots of plug sockets, aircon. I liked that there was a kiosk inside - just what I needed after a long journey. There was also a massage chair in my room! And just a short walk to Central Park and 5th avenue.
Aircon was quite noisy. This didn’t bother me as I’m a heavy sleeper.

Location is good.
The experience was really disappointing. We arrived early and paid in advance for early check-in, but got a dirty room with noisy air conditioning and a view of the compressors on the roof (2nd floor). I asked if we could change rooms in the afternoon, and they said there was no option. We were waiting for two packages, but they didn't seem interested in checking if they had arrived. We also asked for a late checkout, but they claimed they don't offer that, even though it's listed on their website.
I used to stay at this hotel many times before COVID-19, and it was a really good hotel back then, but not anymore. I won't be coming back!
