Nice design, great lobby and bar. Excellent location. Divine toiletries, probably the best reason to stay at an AKA. I am a repeat AKA customer.
Carpet needs deep cleaning, it’s badly stained. I love the moody lighting, but really it needs an option to turn on the “house” lights - I couldn’t see to pack! The room has a lot of black elements - unfortunately it gets knicked up easily, and it shows. Some light touch ups and it would go a long way.

Absolutely amazing Hotel, loved my room with the view. The location is great, not too busy yet walking distance to 5th Avenue and plenty of great coffee shops and restaurants. Staff was so great aswell.

Location was very good. There’s off street parking for weekend stays.
The lighting in the room was not good especially in the bathroom. Need to bring a mirror with a light so you can apply makeup - our room faced a wall so not much sunlight by the window on cloudy day.

Good position, stylish design, very comfy bed
Staff friendliness could use some improvement, the room and bathroom were small, elevators and corridors were kind of gloomy, buffet breakfast was terrible (really expensive and meagre at the same time, and when I asked for a cappuccino they told me it wasn't included)

For a hotel in New York, the rooms were spacious and very comfortable.
Facilities were also great - like the gym.
Staff were also very friendly.
Location is close to everything
There were some inconsistencies with staff but overall they were very helpful and friendly
Possibly just new staff training.

The hotel was so luxurious! Lots of attention to detail and a perfect location for exploring.
My only complaint is that one of the lifts broke as I was checking out, I was on floor 10 and waited 20 minutes!
