The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the room was ready ahead of schedule, which was greatly appreciated. The location is excellent, with everything within easy reach, including Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, 7-Eleven, a gym, and museums. The staff’s kindness and professionalism were impeccable. Additionally, I accidentally left a personal item in the room, and they located it and provided full assistance to arrange its pickup and shipment to Spain.
The room is a bit dark, and the gym could use some improvement for a 4-star hotel. Other than that, the hotel offers very good value for money, an excellent location, and outstanding service.

I liked the customer service. The staff was nice. The room service was decent. I liked the skewers and fries. I liked the view from my room, the temperature, the robes, and the safe was big enough to fit my work laptop. The shower pressure and temperature was nice. I was on the fence about texting my room service order and late check out request but I got used to it. I just prefer talking to someone.
The elevator was broken so I had to take the stairs multiple times to not miss my ubers. The bathroom mirror was too dim for makeup and the shower would basically flood the entire bathroom. I had to use a bunch of towels to dry it up. They did bring me extra towels which was lovely.

Easy walk to nyu langone hospital. Friendly and efficient staff. Comfy bed.
The lighting was overly complicated. The coffee area was a bit grubby. I hate kcups both for eco reasons a well as flavour. Only 1 working elevator was problematic with lots of people waiting. . Pricey breakfast was prohibitive -- I went elsewhere.

Location
This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have ever had. The first room I was given smelled strongly of fast food, was extremely small, and looked directly into a shop window and office space where people could see straight into the room. I asked to move and was given another room. In the second room I discovered a COCKROACH!! Finding a cockroach in a hotel room in 2026 is totally unacceptable. After raising this with the hotel I was moved again and upgraded to a suite, but the problems did not stop there. Shortly after settling in I found a woodlouse crawling across the floor of the suite. At that point I requested that the room be deep cleaned while I was out. When I returned it was immediately obvious that this had not been done. There were tissues left on the floor, the dressing gown had not been hung up, water and glasses had not been restocked, and the area where the minibar snacks were kept was covered in dust. When I picked items up, dust literally lifted into the air. The service experience was equally frustrating. Room service could not be ordered over the phone and required a specific app. However, the app does not accept international phone numbers, which seems extraordinary for a New York hotel that clearly receives international guests. It took roughly 45 minutes of being passed between staff members before someone was finally able to take my order. Unfortunately the food was also extremely poor. The guacamole and chips tasted sour and inedible, the pasta dish was strangely sweet, and the chicken appeared processed rather than freshly prepared. Between the hygiene issues, the insects in two separate rooms, the lack of proper cleaning, and the poor service, this was an extremely disappointing experience. At this price point, the standards should be far higher. Also, the staff didn’t seem that bothered about the insects in my room and there wasn’t a sense of urgency about anything.
