I stayed at the Gallery King Suite - it was really really good. Spacious living room, comfy bed.
The bathroom was a little small though.

The room was lovely - good size, large comfortable bed, good shower, nice towels. No tea making facilities but the staff were happy to put a kettle and a couple of cups in the room when asked.
I expected tea making facilities in the room, coming from the UK we were waking up at 5am so nothing else was open at that time.

Location, bar and staff are all good.
This is a 3 star hotel, decor, condition of furnishing and bathrooms and so on. I selected for the location and value for the space, having to work from the room. I regretted this choice. That said the bar was cool, the staff pleasant and helpful. But the room and bathroom were in bad shape and despite the space not the comfort and quality expected in a 4star.

Location and clean
Shower was not intuitive to figure out how to use, spent way too much time on that. Staff were always caught up in their own chit chat, not really paying attention to people needing something. Dragged my suitcase up the stairs when I left and the gentleman working there sitting right at the door, just watched, did not offer to help or even say hello or goodbye.

Room was not well equipped for a long stay, and was too small. Hotel is old and could use some renovations. Cleaning could also be better

Great location near Grand Central, the street isn't too busy for midtown. My second room was excellent and beautiful, thank you Cindy and Judy for a comfortable stay and taking care of my parents and me. Whenever we needed anything - bottled water, lotion, robes, water kettle - our request was handled quickly. Malin + Goetz toiletries are nice. In the basement gym, there's a water refill station and refreshing eucalyptus towels. The rooms have mini refrigerators. The King size beds are comfy. Internet speed was fine, I didn't have any issues with my Zoom calls. Small detail - my room happened to have a standing coat rack which is so nice to hang your coat, hat, scarf, and bags when you enter. Wish every hotel room had that because there never seem to be enough hangers.
I checked-in very late the first night and the only room still available was above the bar on the second floor, which was very noisy. The room was dark, small, had no view, and was worn-down. The next morning, I was very happy to be moved to a much better room on a higher floor with natural light and a view. Your experience may vary greatly depending on which room and which side of the hotel you're on. Some of the toiletry pumps get stuck but they'll bring you a new one if that's the case.

Great location near Grand Central, the street isn't too busy for midtown.
