A quirky, historic building converted to a friendly and enjoyable space to stay in an ideal position, close to Grand Central station. We were able to walk to broadway and enjoy the memorable sites of manhattan.
There is a temporary problem with the plumbing that meant the shower was too hot for a while this morning.

This was my second time staying at the Renwick, and I was every bit as happy the second time around. The location is fantastic, with an easy walk to everything I wanted to do in the NYC.

Incredible location walking distance to Grand Central station and subways, Bryant Park, Broadway and great restaurants. We appreciated the warm welcome from staff, free water bottles provided daily with cleaning, and lovely view of Empire State building from our room window. The room was very spacious by New York hotel standards and the bed and linens were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again!
Walls are fairly thin, but that only affected our sleep on one night of our four-night stay.
It would be great to have a few more hooks in the bathroom for hanging towel, etc!

The room was lovely, we enjoyed the attached restaurant and the front desk staff was great.

Renwick is in a surprisingly quiet street in Manhattan. The mattrasses were poor, otherwise it was all good. Nice bathroom, and great staff.

We stayed in a king suite with a sofa bed - the pullout bed was a double so a little small for two teenagers but overall no problem. The room was great. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Arty decor was fun. Our room on 12th floor was quiet. Air conditioning/heating unit was quiet and easy to control temperature. Free coffee and tea downstairs in the morning was appreciated. The location was central and easy to get anywhere uptown, downtown, west or east. Good restaurants around the hotel with lots of variety as well.

Good sized bed and sofa bed, the only one grumble would be the location of the bathroom thorough the bedroom,(we stayed in a suite with our adult daughter) so if traveling friends of orther family members they have to come through the bedroom in the night to use the bathroom. The staff were super helpful with any requests and friendly, house keeping every day, towels changed regular and sheets changed during our stay supplied water in the room we also had a mini fridge and a microwave plus coffee machine, mini fridge was great to have as nipped to the liquor store to pick a few bottles to have in the after a long day sightseeing. The location of The Renwick hotel is superb two minute walk to grand central station 18 mins to times square 35 min to central park etc lots of bars, resturaunts within the area coffee shop next door. little gem of a hotel rooms are agood size for new york standards.
