We had a King room and we’re on the 17th floor and had an amazing view of the Empire State building. It was very clean and close to Grand Central Station which was perfect as we could access multiple train lines.
There was a great convenient store next door and a fantastic bar attached to the premises.
The room was bigger than most hotels had stayed in New York previously.

Most wonderful staff, from the doorman to the giest check-in/out, to the cleaning attendants- they were all so welcoming and friendly. Location was perfect for our plans. The room was clean and comfortable.
Wish we could have been on a higher floor and a non-ADA bathroom. Our view was another building’s patio. Not the biggest of deals, though.

A restaurant that opened on time and could serve food !! Somewhere to get coffee after hours and not in a restaurant that doesn’t open on time !!

No coffee in room and only down stairs at 7 am to 12 pm.

Perfect location
It’s been the 4th or 5th time I stayed at the Renwick. I like the location and the staff is helpful and friendly but you see the rooms and facilities show a signs of wear and tear, every time a little bit more. It could do with a lick of paint here and there, some lights, electric sockets and wiring could be redone etc. It’s still a good hotel but for me it has dropped from 5 to 4 stars this year (and I want to be clear, it’s not because of the staff, they are great)
