Good location, great staff, good housekeeping and great shower with plenty of towels
Too much clutter of booze etc on the flat surfaces. You need a nice small reading light on each side of bed. No place to put suitcases

This hotel was awesome. Great location, the staff amazing, the restaurants from the hotel are 10/10. I would select it again for sure!
A bit noiser at night but nothing aweful. For real, the hotel was great!

Disappointing
I enjoyed having the jazz on the ground floor of the hotel
It was my second stay there, no comparison with the first one 5 years ago. The room I got needed maintenance, the desk lamp was held together by sticky tape; the blinds were half broken, the windows old and let through all the street noise, there was no view to speak of, the glass of the painting in the bathroom was full of some splatters that wouldn't come off when I tried to wash them off; and the back of the mini fridge by the bedside, when when moved away from the wall in search of an accidentally dropped earring, looked so fun of dust it was obvious it had never been moved and cleaned out since it was first brought there years ago.
Refinery management - take note and get your act together! You can do better!

Location and roof top restaurant
The panel for the air/heat attached to the wall fell off in middle of the night and we could not put it back on. We tried repeatedly but it kept falling off. We notified the front desk at checkout.

The location! Times Square is literally a few blocks away. You can walk to Broadway.
You need to go to the reception to get bottled water.

This motto is nailing it. From pre-arrival communication to Front Desk to room to drinks and restaurant to door - outstanding service throughout!
Our room had a lovely view of the Empire State Building, was spacious and equipped with everything you need.
The bar and the restaurant offer great food and drinks, the Rooftop is great for a good time and the location is awesome to get to all the sights ans places you have in mind.

It's a stylish boutique hotel in the Garment District, strategically located just 10 min walk to the Empire State Building or Broadway, 5 min to the Fifth Avenue and 30 min to the Central Park. The reception staff are friendly, polite and super efficient. I hadn't had more speedy check-in or check-out for years. Our Privilege room had 2 queen sized beds (which were very comfortable) and was spacious enough for New York. The mini bar was fully stocked and room amenities were pleasant.
Shower: the water pressure is too low and it takes 2-3 minutes for the running water to reach the comfortable temperature. Breakfast: there's no conventional hotel breakfast, a la carte is offered in the bistro. The choice is quite limited and the service is of variable friendliness
