Good location, breakfast and services, very clean.
Although recently refurbished with evident care, especially use some "Hi-tech touch screen pad", some facilities are still somewhat outdated. For example, I think the door of each guest room should be replaced with heavier fire doors, which should be more important than those "hi-tech" stuff. Another part that need to be upgraded is the tap of the water basin.

The room was impeccably clean.
Well positioned hotel.
The view was on an inner brick wall, but the biggest faux-pas at this rate for a luxury hotel is that there is no nespresso machine or similar.
The peninsula is a 5* luxury hotel, but it’s certainly not luxurious to have to get up, clothe yourself before 7am to go down to the reception area to get yourself a cup of coffee or tea???
Thereafter the Nespresso machine is removed.
It’s become standard practice the world over (even in 3 and 4• hotels) to include a coffee-making machine -or even a kettle in hotel rooms.
Many luxury hotels, be they classic in style or modern , include a complimentary bar, and nespresso coffee- BUT NOT at the Peninsula.
Its high room price offers you nothing, but a hotel room.
