large hotel and strategic location
The hotel itself is fine, but the treatment I received from the reception was not to my liking. Weeks before arriving, I had already contacted Booking.com and the hotel via email to arrange a transfer from the airport to the hotel. After several confirmations from the hotel via email, we arrived at our destination without a transfer. We had to wait over an hour and a half for my sister from Connecticut to book another transfer for us. The hotel said there was no transfer reservation registered! The location is strategic. The property is slightly dated but modern. The breakfast was very limited and definitely not 4-star, with little choice of savory options! The rooms were spacious. They told us they would check the rooms after 48 hours, even though there was a "do not disturb" sign (normal practice). I wasn't surprised by the idea since I've also worked in hotels, but at least let the guests know! They also charged us a $400 deposit upon arrival! I want to say that's fine, but at least give it to us immediately upon checkout! and maybe even a lot $200 a room

Decor was a bit faded and all in brown and beige tones. Lamp shade in bedroom a bit tatty !

The shower should have enclosure rather than a custain in bayhroom as shown on photos in booking.

The staff were outstanding: friendly, helpful, and very professional. The hotel perfectly suited my needs. The location is excellent, very central and convenient for getting around. Overall, a comfortable and well-run property.
The first room I was assigned was a bit noisy and had a heating issue, which affected my initial comfort. However, the staff promptly changed my room and turned my stay into a great experience.
Additionally, breakfast being served on paper plates slightly detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

The Room was spacious and slept 5 of us well. The hotel is very well located and the staff was very friendly. The complementary snacks were a nice touch.
We didn't love that the ice machine was all the way on the bottom floor. There was nowhere in the hotel to get bottled water. We ask for extra towels and for our son's pullout bed to be made up but that didi not happen while we were out for the night. When we returned we asked again and towles were delivered but we need to make up the bed ourselves.

This location is amazing!! Close to the Shows, Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central. Exceptionally close subway access.

Loved the breakfast, the location and the staff was very nice. The room was comfortable for the most part. Loved the outdoor patio area!
Our room was across from the breakfast area, and set up around 6am woke us up, as did people talking loudly as they went to breakfast at 7am. Wish we had been told there was a possibility we would hear those noises. The beds were comfy, but the pillows were not.

Breakfast was sufficient. We were traveling with three kids, and the suite was perfect for our needs, roomy, Especially by New York City standards.
We ended up cold because the comforters were so late they fall off, and not enough blankets for the pullout couch.
