Added breakfast to package-great choices and delish-have had dinner here too in previous stay -dining space not huge but accomodating!
Taxes too much-even if you get a godd price for room the taxes put it over the top... the stay is great and woukd stay overnight more often here but cost is a big factor-let the mayor know!!!

The hotel’s location is midway between Times Square and Central Park, and it’s convenient to many of the sites and things to do in NYC.

I had to switch rooms twice. The mattresses had indentations (they were sagging and had dips), which caused me back pain. There was banging noise in the second room. The third room looked like a brothel. The pictures of the rooms didn’t match reality. The staff weren’t helpful. A bottle of wine was offered as compensation.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was centrally located to all the sites we wanted to see. Totally enjoyed our stay in NY

Beautiful historic building with old-fashioned charm in an excellent location!
Maintenance was lacking on some of the tired facilities. For example the shower fixture was broken.

No money has been spent in 20 years on the property and staff were very average, I suspect morale low in the hotel. Shame as it was previously very good.

The history of the building is amazing. They should make more of that. The beds were comfortable.
No coffee machine or kettle in the room; shower and bath a bit dated; coffee in the bar is way overpriced; WiFi did not work.

Beautiful property, spacious room, comfortable bed, delightful staff - all centrally located to the theater district Central Park and Lincoln Center.

Great location. Just a few minutes walk to Times Square. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean.
