The room size was excellent as an Executive room, thankfully it was as the pictures portrayed and the reviews of others. It had ample space for bags, slippers & gown, lounge chairs and 2 other comfy chairs. I also loved the bath, it was wide. The bed and pillows were comfy for me. The Doorman were great, friendly and brought a comfort to returning, worth their tips for sure!
The restaurant is small and had limited food options, although there are so many options right outside the hotel. There was a common smell of 'weed' through the floor hall ways, I'm not sure how this can be monitored. Thankfully this smell did not come into my room.
The fitness centre was a lot smaller than the pictures showed. It is very basic, maybe 5 machines & some free weights.
Also, if you have purchased breakfast in your package, ensure you ask the waiter what food/drink in included? - otherwise you'll be charged. The breakfast is not a buffet, you choose from the menu, but not everything is included.

Very homely and quiet hotel. I liked the fact it only has 8 floors. It’s a very classy and comfortable hotel.
Couldn’t use a lift to manoeuvre my heavy bag at the hotel entrance.

The best hotel we stayed in while visiting New York! The room was so spacious, well equipped and the only disadvantage (if I call it that) was no USB outlet so we had to buy an American charger for our iPhone
We will definitely come back again!! Highly recommended hotel in every way!!

The staff were friendly, especially one lady in housekeeping who went out of her way for us. The shower was fantastic, and the bed was comfortable. Nice quiet room to top it off. No street noise. Loved the bits and pieces (display cases, furniture, etc) in the corridors. Added to the lovely feeling of the hotel.
Low furniture in the room and the noisy air-conditioning. It could be because everything else was so quiet. No tea or coffee making facilities.

The Michelangelo hotel is well located close to Times Square and a quick walk to a lot of theaters. Our room was quiet in spite of overlooking 7th avenue. We had a Junior King Suite and it was very spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed. Since this is an older building, the windows are small and there’s basically no views (our room had heavy curtains that also obstructed what view there was). It’s also lacking strategically placed outlets for our modern lives but we managed! The hotel is beautifully furnished and we appreciated the classical look. It is however a little tired looking in some places but overall well maintained. Housekeeping always kept our room impeccably clean.
The gym was relatively big with all the equipment needed and lots of mirrors. I only missed a soft mat for the floor for yoga.
The staff we interacted with were always nice and helpful and polite. Thanks to Teodoro, Juan, Jimmy, Edwin, Kendrick for excellent service.
We had room service a few times and the delivery was fast and the food reasonably good. The menu was a little limited.
We appreciated the luggage storage when we arrived early and the help in getting a taxi when we left.
