Most of staffs are friendly and nice.
Old French / European style interior.
Facility is old, but well maintained.
Location is the best.
Service is great.
Shower drainage issue ! Water didn’t drain quickly enough during the showers. A little disgusting as you have to shower in a bathtub. Old facilities and furnitures - tho I think this is quite standard for Manhattan. No matter where you go, I assume it will be the similar quality as the city is overpopulated and old.

Rooms are huge for New York, lots of space for a family of 4 with 4 large suits cases. Room has small lounge area and huge bathroom/closet space. We had a corner room with view down to Times Square. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are extremely clean. Theodore the doorman is the greatest member of staff- he’s been there both times we have stayed and is so welcoming and friendly.
Excellent location with a very short walk to Central Park, Times Square and broadway.

Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Everyone at the hotel was welcoming and ready to help. The room was elegantly decorated and very spacious. The location is perfect. As soon as you enter, you are in a peaceful, beautiful space even though it is quite close to the action on Broadway. It is also close to many lovely restaurants. I needed a room at the last minute and I was thrilled with my experience.
