The hotel has a more classic, traditional style rather than a new, modern feel, but it was beautifully maintained, plush, and exceptionally clean. The customer service was excellent, and despite being in the heart of the city, the hotel was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, with none of the activity outside disturbing our stay.
The room did not have a microwave or a standard refrigerator, although there was a small beverage refrigerator. This wasn’t an issue for us, especially with so many great food options within walking distance, but it may be helpful for future guests to know.

We had pre-paid for breakfast, but on our first day the staff member insisted we pay a tip. She gave us the bill to sign, we didn't add a tip as we had pre-paid, she rushed after us and insisted we didn't give her a tip, which then we added 20%. This made us very uncomfortable we didn't go back down for breakfast. Everywhere else we stayed on this trip in USA didn't ask for a tip at breakfast at all.

Our room was beautiful, the bathroom was lovely, the tub was SO deep. The bed was so comfortable!!!
If you want a view be sure to ask for a room with a view.

Everything. Staff was amazing and helpful. Very big and comfortable rooms.

7th ave can be a bit hectic and loud though inside the room, which faced the avenue, it was quiet and calm.
