Loved the charm of the hotel. The bar and the breakfast room were just beautiful. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Location was perfect and we loved the hotel's ambience.
The rooms are very small .. my daughter and I had a twin room for 4 nights and it was a squeeze. The beds were so comfortable though and linen so lovely - which did make us overlook how squashed we were.

Location was excellent. The ambiance was beautiful, including the rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Well stocked fridge in room. Fast and thorough room service.
breakfast was a bit lacking and underwhelming. Breadbasket should have some actual bread in it - not just sweet pastries. Yogurt with granola should have more fruit and berries with optional honey to sweeten the granola. It was served with mainly cantaloupe as the fruit, which does not go well with yogurt at all. It ruined the dish.
As far as the shower, water came out from only about half of the holes in the shower head, resulting in very little water flow. Also, the first two days there was only hot water coming out. No cold water at all. The water temperature was very hot even if you had the handle on the cold setting. (this did not change even after letting water run for several minutes and wherever the handle was set). Then, on the last day, there was cold water...
The second key should have a larger key fob so it's not so difficult to find in your purse or pocket. The key fob on the main key is much too large and heavy to carry around...

The room is tiny. This isn’t my first time in New York, so I’m used to smaller rooms, but this one is exceptionally small.

Great location, great staff. Needs to be cleaned more as room was dusty and not clean enough. Bedding was clean and comfortable, but get rid of fake fur blanket as full of germs and unhygienic
Needs more cleaning. Chairs and sofas in lobby/bar/restaurant have worn out springs and cushions and need to be replaced as worn out

This was my second stay at this wonderful hotel — my first visit was in October 2025, and this time I came back in August. I already can’t wait to return! ❤️This place has truly found a special place in my heart. From the warm and welcoming staff to the beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, and the comfort of the rooms, everything makes you feel at home while still being somewhere very special.
A true little gem in New York, made even more special by the wonderful people who work here.

The location was the highlight of our stay. It's convenient in every way.
Cleanliness was lacking, specifically the bathroom inside the room. They need to put just a little more effort in the cleaning the entire bathroom including the shower doors and floors.

Location, friendly staff.
Room was dirty upon arrival. I had to ask for it to be vacuumed. No where to put luggage, extremley tight room. Public spaces not as clean as I would have expected.
Breakfast area is so dark, I could not read the free newspaper.

The French restaurant downstairs was so divine I didn’t need to go out or find breakfast if I preferred low-key and simply wander in from the elevator to a cozy Lucious dining room with delicious dishes cooked to perfection. The coffee with breakfast was also deep and high quality and with a side order of real maple syrup made it even more perfect. Everything I needed and more….loved the location too easy to get to so many places
