The stay itself was fine, but unfortunately the experience after checkout left a very negative impression.
We paid our bill in full at checkout and received an invoice showing a zero balance. After leaving the hotel, additional charges appeared on both of our cards, including a charge for an allegedly missing umbrella. We had in fact returned the umbrella directly to reception when collecting our luggage and had specifically asked the receptionist if we could leave it with him. The hotel eventually agreed to refund the charge after we complained, but there was not even an apology for incorrectly charging us for an item we had returned to their staff. Mistakes happen, but charging guests first and checking what actually happened afterwards is not acceptable. The complete lack of apology or acknowledgement made the customer service particularly disappointing.

Excellent location, friendly, welcoming, and clean. Hotel had everything you needs, including an ideal continental breakfast and gym. It’s close to the Hudson and high line and easy walk to west village. There is a sub station very close by.
It can be a bit noisy at night with city sounds, but once I put in ear plugs, which are provided by the hotel it made a big difference.
