Wonderful
We had a great stay at the The Ludlow Hotel. The location is perfect for exploring NYC, with so many great restaurants, cafés, and neighborhoods nearby. The fitness room was a real highlight: very clean, spacious, equipped with modern machines, and offering amazing views over the city through large windows. The rooftop is also a great bonus, especially to enjoy the NYC views. The lobby feels cozy and welcoming, making the hotel feel warm and stylish at the same time. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay there again.

Unsure if it lives up to the “hype”. For such a top rated hotel I’d expect a bit more - room service food was cold, rooms were comfortable but beds were small, lifts were incredibly slow, staff and service were hit and miss - found staff had a bit of an edge.

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel that feels like high end designers decorated the place, including the rooms.,They have a friendly front desk staff and nice products in the room (like curated shampoo,,conditioner and lotion, etc). It’s a great location on the lower east side, near tons of chic boutiques and little restaurants etc. very close to the village as well.
The restaurant, Dirty French, doesn’t match the hotel in either the taste and quality of the food or the service. The woman who made my latte two mornings in a row was very blunt and not friendly. She clearly didn’t want to go above and beyond for customer service and had a snotty attitude. That is at direct odds with with the very friendly front desk staff. I ended up going down the street for coffee for the rest of my stay (5 nights) just to avoid this woman because it’s nice to be greeted with a smile and a “sure!” In the morning.
