It was a beautiful room with a great view. For such a small space they utlised well as well. We were delighted when the room was available for early check in as we'd caught a red eye and were exhausted!
There were a lot of expensive things filling up the space that we could buy but took up most of the bedside table. It is expensive but NYC is generally so we were happy with the price. No plant based options on the menu was a real shame.

Stunning rooms and views. Bathroom was phenomenal, would go back just for that. Comfy bed but location wise was abit out of the hustle and bustle if that is what you want in NYC.

Hotel was clean upon arrival and room was ready early. Comfy bed. Nice touches throughout the hotel and room. Quick elevator for New York, too.
There were two customers with my last name and they almost put me under the wrong reservation without verifying my first name until I asked. This was an ADA room and although spacious, I would have preferred a regular room as I'm 6'2 and the outlets/switches were difficult for me to access. My only complaint about the entire hotel is that my shower leaked like CRAZY. After my first shower I had to use all the clean linens to get the water up. You can see evidence of wood rot on the bathroom door framing because of the leakage over time. This should be addressed from a structure standpoint.

Great Lobby. Great staff. High quality furnishings, linens, and toiletries.
Not much. I really like it. Rooms are small but I don't mind. They are elk thought out and nice.

We were getting civilly married in Manhattan and chose the Ludlow for its location, in walking distance to City Hall and close to some of the best parts of the LES. The facilities were fantastic and the service impeccable: They upgraded our High Floor Queen to a Skybox Loft and gifted us a bottle of prosecco. The rooftop is also stunning - we were able to take photos up there after our City Hall appointment. We ordered room service twice and the food was delicious. I would definitely go to the restaurant next time. Katz's and Russ & Daughters are on the corner - perfect for breakfast!

The staff in reception were very welcome and accommodating. We were staying for 4 nights and found our first room was too small and asked to change to larger one for an extra charge of course. Rooms in NY aren’t that big but although the Ludlow is beautifully designed we felt the standard room to be way too small. Not really much room to unpack so we didn’t bother. Breakfast was good. We both like different things to eat so it’s important to have the variation. We found most of the staff to be very cheerful.
There were one or two of the staff in the restaurant that we felt were a little on the sullen side but it’s possible they stood out by comparison to the ones who cheerful.
