Excellent and super trendy hotel in a fun location! The communal areas, such as the fireplace room, are great! The bathtub in our room was amazing!! Everything is very clean!
The rooms are on the small side. Far from the Times Square area; must use ride share, taxi, or subway.

The room was great - we loved the terrace and the bed was very comfortable. The room was also very clean.
The elevators were very, very slow. Since there are only two and we were on the 7th floor, by the time the elevators got to us they were too packed to even get on. We ended up taking the stairs down, but the hallways had room service and laundry/garbage. This is probably unavoidable since it is an older building and we left close to check-out time for the rest of the guests.

Achingly cool interior and immaculate room service each day. Really well positioned for the subway and loads of amazing restaurants and bars nearby. So you can explore the city and then in the evening just mooch around the East Village and eat you way around the world.
The bar area fills up with visitors nursing a coffee often not bought on the premises and so it’s sometimes hard to find a spot to sit which, when you’re a guest, you feel you’ve paid for and want to enjoy. Many seem to be there unchallenged for hours at a time.

Incredibly comfy beds, gorgeous linen and loads of hot water. Fabulous location and lovely staff. Great housekeeping and coffee! Divine lounge and outdoor area.

Best place ever. Out of the buzz of Midtown, but a quick subway/taxi ride to Broadway shows. Ludlow has a cool aesthetic with lots of comfy seating near sunshine by or in a greenhouse-feeling room and near a fireplace. Well appointed rooms are ample which works well for families who need a little space from each other. Reasonable price on top of it all. Bar and snacks offered for sale in rooms, too. So convenient.
Elevators a bit slow and old, but that’s the way of older buildings that are popular.

The view from the Skyloft room was just amazing. It felt like you are part of the skyline and made us want to spend more time in the room! It was really beautiful and loved it.
If you want to try the famous Katz's delicatessen at the corner, try going there early as the queue gets long fast.
