Easy check in and were delighted to receive an upgrade. Enjoyed the free coffee/tea on 2nd floor. Also liked the soaps and lotions in bathroom. Loved that there were lots of highly rated breakfast cafes nearby, Eataly, L'Amie Pierre, etc.

Unbeatable location, a stone's throw from 5th Avenue, St. Patrick's cathedral, and Rockefeller Center
rooms are on the smaller side, but then again, so are many other hotel rooms in New York City, so I wouldn't necessarily list that as a negative. However, the room safe was super small - it has to at least fit a standard-sized laptop, which this one did not.
