Perfect location near Central Park for our son’s wedding. Several wedding guests stayed at The Jewel, and everyone loved the proximity to Rockefeller Center, the helpful & friendly staff, the refillable water bottle stations on each floor, and the 2nd floor lounge with coffee. It was convenient to gather there or right outside the front door at the open air City Winery. The rooms were comfy and clean (somewhat small but typical for NYC), and very quiet considering the location. The more intimate nature of the hotel was appealing, because we were made to feel special and there were never crowds in the small lobby or on the elevators as is the case in many NYC midtown hotels.
No breakfast, but considering there are plenty of restaurants nearby this wasn’t really a problem.

Good facilities including washer & dryer, daily housekeeping. Location is good if you don’t want to be in all the hustle and bustle of NY, but it is still close enough to public transport to get around.
