The location is absolutely perfect, it is right in the heart of Manhattan, at the Rockefeller Center, and since this was our first trip to New York, it allowed us to convenientely discover the city by foot.

It is hard to find a hotel room with 2 bathrooms. Such a great thing. Usually have to go to a condo for 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Loved the location. Great coffee station. Staff was great in greeting us and stowing our luggage as we arrived quite early

Great little hotel in the best location; right next to Rockefeller Center; even had a pharmacy and ATM nearby if needed. Lots of sights to see at a walkable distance. Staff was great especially getting me in and holding my room when my plane was extremely delayed.
The price was still pretty high for nothing extremely fancy. Clean and neat with all the essentials but no opulence. If you could score a lower rate it would feel like a better value

The room wasn't as clean as expected, the bathtub was filled with cleaning detergent that wasn't washed.

The Jewel Hotel is in a perfect location opposite the Radio City Music Hall. Within walking distance of everywhere we needed to go ie Broadway and sights. We got a tube from JFK airport which took us to the tube stop right outside Radio City and walked about 5mins round the corner to the hotel. It was super easy. The hotel room was very clean and surprisingly spacious. There was a desk with chair and also a separate lounge chair. We were on the 10th floor and it was super quiet. We didn't get much of a view (just another high rise building) but we didn't care as we were there to explore out. There was a free water station on each floor (with free refillable bottles) you can take which was great for when you are sightseeing. There was also a free coffee machine on the 2nd floor which all guests can enjoy.
