The location of the hotel was fantastic and the room was comfortable and clean.
I found the room a little basic for the price and we had an internal view of an office block which was disappointing as I was hoping for a view of the street (51st street/5th avenue) as shown in the promotional pictures (I should have requested this prior to arrival).

The room was a generous size for New York - enough room to put our things and not trip over them. We had what we needed in the bathroom.
Our events were in Rockefeller Plaza and nearby on Fifth Ave, so the location was excellent.
The bed was very comfortable withe room on both sides, a light and a small shelf.
All the over-large pillows were soft - would have preferred one soft and one firm.
We prefer a small fridge in the room.
The high-end coffee in the living room was nice and we used it, but I would have preferred to pay less (facility fee) and have a fridge instead.

The location and staff were exceptional. Walking distance to Times Square, subways, Central Park and all the wonderfulness of the midtown/upper east side. I was there for 5 nights preparing my daughter to move into her dorm for college and the front desk staff everyday was so warm, caring and took the time to make the transition so much easier with great conversation throughout each day. Beds were comfy too after a long day of walking.
I would probably ask for a room facing Rockefeller center to enjoy the city life when we in the room.

The location is unbeatable. In the heart of Manhattan, walking distance from many attractions, as well as many options for public transport.
The staff is nice and discreet.
The laundry room and water/coffee available are a big plus.
The furniture is very old which makes the room dated; also the walls are in desperate need of fresh paint. Still, despite this, the cleaning staff does a great job.
The room at the 4th floor was very loud, had to use earplugs.

The location could not be better. Right next to the Rockefeller center, near the today show etc! The street is not busy! The hotel room was very quiet. The room we had was not big, no view but quiet. We travel very light so if you carry too many bags you may not like it. I loved the common room for coffee and the washer dryer for those of us who travel light. It has the detergent there all free!
My favorite thing was the staff. We spoke with Jessie the most and he gave us great tips for seeing things. The staff, location and small hotel is a place I will return again to.

A great value in the Midtown Rockefeller Center area. Small but comfortable rooms, very clean, all that one needs. Nice coffee machine on the 2nd Floor.
