Comfortable, great bed, clean, great location and staff. Breakfast was good. Near Times Square. The room had all the facilities: a fridge, coffee maker, cups and glasses. Comfortable bathroom with good water pressure.
You may hear a bit of noise at night from the neighboring businesses, but with the tiredness from the day it doesn’t affect your sleep.

The room was incredible. We travelled mid-week for a birthday and were greeted to an upgrade to the penthouse! 2 bedrooms with a balcony and a small kitchen. I was so impressed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with our bags and recommendations. Great location with tons of restaurants and a block from our theater and a few blocks from Times Square. Tree-lined street, very quaint. They are currently refurbishing their French Quarter-looking cafe, but we were given breakfast at the place next door...included! What a deal and what a great little find. I have told my friends and will definitely be back!

Hotel Scherman, a charming boutique hotel, was truly a lucky find in Hell’s Kitchen. Perfectly located on
Restaurant Row, it offers endless choices for dining and entertainment right at your doorstep.
Our room was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed with attention to every detail. The bed was heavenly, and the walk-in shower had excellent water pressure—always a plus!
After dinner, we headed up to the rooftop and enjoyed stunning views of the city lights—a perfect New York moment.
The staff were exceptional: friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful with advice and directions. They even stored our luggage before check-in, which made our arrival stress-free. Before our stay, we messaged the team with several questions, and they always responded promptly and warmly.
A special thank you to Alona, Jaysa, and Nico, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They surprised us with an upgrade and a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate Evan’s birthday—such a thoughtful gesture!
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Stay at Hotel Scherman and soak in the true spirit of NYC. Book early—you’ll be delighted!

Everything from the super comfortable bed to the pleasant staff and gorgeous view of the city from the rooftop was wonderful. This hotel has the best water pressure I’ve experienced so far in the city. One of my new favorite hotels and I can’t wait to go back.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the new location was so nice. Staff is friendly and accommodating. West side location is great. All around good choice for a stay in NYC.
Our room was located on the street side and it was so noisy. Lots of loud voices and trash collection. Not sleep conducive. We have stayed at this hotel previously and never had this problem.

Our experience was truly exceptional because we were upgraded to the balcony suite. The view was amazing and there were comfy chairs and a cafe table. Perfect for reading or drinking prosecco and admiring the clouds. The bedroom and living room were both stunning and very comfortable, and they provided half and half in the fridge, not just creamer. The staff were delightful and helpful.

Great location on Restaurant Row in Hell’s Kitchen. Lovely staff and very clean rooms. Good breakfast included. Very small room, but well appointed and probably typical for NYC. Would definitely stay again.

Having access to the rooftop was a perfect place to relax in the city. Great location to see the theater and eat at restaurants. Staff were very accommodating storing luggage and recommending restaurants. Rooms were good size for New York City and quiet.
Public restrooms in basement required going through some unfinished areas.

Very convenient location. We were given a room upgrade at check in. The room was really nice, very clean, AC works well. Bed is comfortable. Small continental breakfast at the restaurant next door, basic but good. Nice space to sit on the roof.
Bathroom is small, expected in the city. You can hear noise from outside but it wasn’t too bad with AC on.
