Location was convenient for our purposes, room spacious, clean
At check in they demanded original credit card used for booking (even though room was prepaid) which I didn’t have with me. This resulted in a long wait and negotiations with management to find a solution. Really frustrating and completely unnecessary. We missed our dinner because of that.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the new location was so nice. Staff is friendly and accommodating. West side location is great. All around good choice for a stay in NYC.
Our room was located on the street side and it was so noisy. Lots of loud voices and trash collection. Not sleep conducive. We have stayed at this hotel previously and never had this problem.

Location and near by restaurants are good. Walkable to Times Square
Bathroom was small and one light bulb popped out, exposing the wires near the shower. Also, the bathroom door didn't lock.

Location
Doors squeak and master bath shower not working and house keeping banging upstairs and when they go in and out it makes doors rattle I. Our room

I loved the room. It was charming and comfortable. Loved the brick on the walls.
Loved the complimentary breakfast, but wished there were some hot items like scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage.

Probably my favorite hotel I have stayed in when I go to New York. I love the location of it, there are so many great options for dinning that you don't need to venture too far. Plus its only a few minute walk to any of the theaters and subway. The hotel staff were really welcoming, both times I've stayed there. The rooms weren't ready, but they held our bags and put them in when they were. The vibe almost feels like an apartment, a home away from home in a sense. Very comfortable and relaxing. This place is always on my list of hotels to check out when we visit!
