Absolutely EVERYTHING you need within half a mile. Zero noise from other guests or elevator. Extremely clean bathroom.
If you reserve a room style with 2 doubles, you will need to place suitcases on the bed. Zero floor space.

It was beautifully appointed in the vintage period style. The employees were super kind and helpful. The housekeeping was immaculate.
It was too small in general- from the tiny front door with steps to enter, to the lobby, to the room and bathroom size. The bathroom was so small that it was cramped & uncomfortable. The sink and bathtub were miniature in every way, and it was hard to lay our items on the small shelves provided.

The staff at The Franklin were very friendly and helpful with transportation and restaurant recommendations. The bed was comfortable and the shower strength was good. I felt very safe on the first floor with hall and room security.
The window in my first floor room had to stay covered because it looked into the dining space, not outdoors, so next time I will ask for a room on a higher floor.

Perfect little room - everything I needed. Very nice decor - not the typical bland hotel room. Perfect location. Pet friendly. Wonderfully efficient and friendly staff. They welcomed me like an old friend even though I'd never been there before. They even offered me an umbrella to keep when I left since it was raining.
