Wonderful
I booked a room as a gift for my elderly aunt and uncle. They absolutely loved it. They raved about the hotel, from staff to cleanliness, and had "the most restful night's sleep." Which I feel is one of the biggest compliments you can give a place!

The location of the property is A+
The room was exceedingly small and cramped. The bathroom was also very small, and the facilities were basic.
We were handed two warm bottles of room-temperature water when we checked in and told that we had to go to the front desk to ask for more.
The clothes rail in the open closet was so high that my wife could not hang or take down her garments (she is not short).
The decor is dated (not in a good way) and tired. Chipped wood, peeling wallpaper, etc.
There are no privacy curtains on the window behind the blackout curtains, even though our room faced other rooms a short distance away. This is the first time we have encountered this, and it made life very awkward.
There are no coffee-makers in the room, and no complimentary coffee in the lobby.

They double booked our room and then didn't correct the mistake. The room we git stuck in was small, we booked a king...and the heater had wires hanging out and didn't get warm.

Location great — right by 59th St subway station, Lincoln Center, across the street from excellent restaurant The Smith. Lobby nice and rooftop bar friendly and reasonably priced.
Wallpaper peeling, very small room, outdated tv, no fridge. Probably the smallest room in the place, tucked in next to the janitor’s closet. But I was on a budget, so it was what I expected for the price.

The location was great
The rooms were very old and worn with little upkeep or maintenance done. The air con unit in our apartment had lots of dust built up on it and was obviously not cleaned in a long long time

Great location across from Lincoln Center and a short walk to Central Park. Restaurants on site were excellent.
