Location was excellent.
Room was ridiculously small
And hard to walk around any obstacles
Paint peeling, mold on bathroom door, filthy window in room.

No valet/on-site parking due to a street fair or parade. I wish they had informed guests prior. Options available were much more expensive and inconvenient.

Excellent location for exploring NY. Our Deluxe room was a good size for NY but was in need of some TLC, looked quite tired. The staff were very helpful and efficient. Would we stay again.............Yes.
Room was in need of attention; wardrobe was falling apart, the a/c unit was quite noisy at night.

The location is very good, walking distance to Central Park, Time Square and 5th avenue shopping.
On arrival I was not allocated the room I paid for. It took a long firm conversation with the receptionist until they finally agreed to allocate me the correct room, but they didn’t want to and they offered no compensation. It wasn’t available until the next day though, which affected a whole day of my short stay.

Location was great! Close to Lincoln Center and Central Park
The wife had trouble getting hot water for showers, I had no real issue except working faucet to right position

The rooftop restaurant and the Mexican restaurant bar. Location to venue
The style is dated and old. The room rug was tattered. My bed squeaked every time I turned. The bathroom was tiny. We had 3 people and had No accommodations for the third person. Bedding was finally brought to the room at 12:30! There were only towels for 2.

Great value for Columbus Square area. Comfortable room, nice bathroom, good towels, comfortable bed. Everything worked and in very good condition. Will definitely stay at the Empire when I need to be in New York in the future.

The front desk staff are so nice, the location is amazing and the beds are comfortable.
The size of the bathroom, the loud staff in the hallway at cleaning time, the lack of a coffee pot in the room.
