Location is fantastic and the lobby is beautiful.
The pool is about the size of 2 hot tubs, access to the roof goes through a closet door. Room is small and musty with garage sale quality furniture. Air conditioning works poorly. The text system to get towels, ice, etc does not work, you must go to the desk. The gym smells like exhaust.

Absolutely nothing!

It was dirty, the bedroom we booked had 2 x double beds and a sofa bed for a family of 5 but when we got there we were given a bedroom with just one double bed.
The wallpaper was hanging off the wall, the AC didn’t work, the AC controls were sat on top of the units with wires on show and were not screwed down, there were holes appearing in the ceiling, the furniture was broken, bathroom tiles were chipped, the bathroom cabinet was old and chipped and paint was peeling in several locations. The whole room felt grubby too. It was awful!
The second room they gave us was even worse and they expected my 6’1” son to share a bed with my husband in a separate room. It was our wedding anniversary and it was the last hotel on a 5 week tour of America. It was the worst hotel we booked and by far the most expensive!
They told us if we walked out we would get a full refund via booking.com. I am currently waiting for my refund. Please don’t waste your money on this hotel it hasn’t been renovated for years and needs some major TLC to bring it up to its 4 star status!

The only good thing was it's location which was excellent.
The Hotel is outdated; the AC does not work, our room was changed 3 times, and each time. the staff lacks basic customer service skills. The rooms are old and smelly. You have to show your key if coming after 12. We had to argue to change the room. staff offered a refund, which was not good enough in the searing heat. The AC was not working in multiple rooms, washrooms were really outdated. It was a horrible experience,

Great location. Rooms at small but comfortable. Good location for the subway and Central Park. Can easily walk to Tines square.Great to have a pool.
