Location is good.
The room is much smaller than it seems in the picture. The toilet door is dilapidated despite the upgrading. No coffee, tea and boiler in the room. Need to take hot water from the reception. The bellboy was trying to extort money from the yellow cab driver we took to airport.

Always enjoy the cozy sense decor friendliness of staff. The location is most convenient.
I believe that one of the stalkers is in room 628 next to my 629 and wish that it could have been pp’preventef by staff. Believe he is still there.

Staff is always friendly! I love the location and the rooms are well kept, the bathrooms need a little attention in some details, door paint and shower heads not fully working but other than that an excellent stay as always
Bathrooms can use some detailing

The lobby was nice, and the staff were friendly.
The rooms were very dated, and not very well maintained. We had to move rooms 4 times due to loud/broken air conditioning, rusted bathroom fixtures or damaged and dirty toilet seats. Every room we saw had the same unfinished look, there were splatters of paint over the curtains and the bathroom tiles. Every headboard was also falling off of the wall. We finally settled on a room, as it looked generally clean, but with the aforementioned paint/grout issues, a bit of a rusted shower head fixture and the headboard falling off of the wall. In this room we also noticed the sheets had dried blood on them. We went down to the lobby to say we would stay in the room but would need a new mattress protector and sheets. The staff on the front desk were very helpful and apologetic for the state of the rooms; however when we were in the room a member of staff gave us a mattress cover and then left, after then remaking the bed we realised they had given us the wrong size, so we asked if we could get the right size whilst we went out to dinner. We came back to a new mattress protector in a plastic cover, however all of the old (bloodied) sheets were still in a pile on the floor at the foot of the bed. We then remade the bed ourselves and carried on with our stay. Later that night I then took a shower and there was absolutely zero water pressure, the water effectively dribbled out of the shower head (which was also slightly rusted). Overall the staff were nice, as was the lobby, but the rooms need a lot of work, I wouldn’t have expected to have to change my own sheets either, especially after going through so many rooms with so many issues. Very poor overall service and I would not go back, I certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here.

We have stayed here before and had better luck. This time we had an interior room, very small compared to others on exterior. But we love the location and comfortable public areas and bar(s). Staff is great.

The staff was excellent; courteous and helpful. Great location for parking and most of the sights you want to see.
Lack of coffee maker in room.

The price was right. The room was very quiet which for NYC rocks. (We were in the back with no view which was fine for my needs)
The biggest MASSIVE buzzkill was the type of light bulbs used in the room. They had that annoying green fluorescent color to them versus a warm incandescent look. Pissed me off! I called the front desk who sent maintenance and they wouldn’t do anything for me. Such a simple fix.

Review for "breakfast:" There was no hotel guide in the room. We did not know there was a breakfast area until our 4th day there. and, it was in the bar upstairs, no dining areas, just bar seating to juggle food, which was very expensive. What we did like: the hotel was clean, beautifully decorated and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
The walls and windows in the room were very thin. We could hear people talking and running water and flushing in the room next to us. We could hear everything in the hall. We were on the 5th floor and the window glass was so thin, we could hear every horn, every siren and people talking on the street. Also, there was a bar with hangers for our clothes. It was about 6 1/2 feet above the floor. Also the bathroom was the smallest bathroom we had ever been in. The small sink had no counter and there was no cabinet above or below the sink. A tall person (not us) would not be able to sit on the toilet and close the bathroom door. The towels were on a shelf way above our heads and there was no towel bar for used towels. There was no overhead light, just dim lamps. And, Supposedly we were in a _SUPERIOR KING room.

Great location in a wonderful neighborhood. Right next to Lincoln Center and around the corner from Fordham University. Small rooms, but perfect for those who don’t plan on sitting in their hotel all day. Great bar. Short ride to TS and RC.
Wish there was a coffee pot in the room and that there was a second mirror (one person can be in the bathroom and the other can be doing makeup and hair in the room).
