Poor
I liked only location and staff were nice.
What is negative:
1- room is small with no place to put your clothes only hang some over the safe.
2- the shower was blocked so water hardly went away each time you have shower you just stay in this water
3- bed is very small it says queen but it is full bed size judged by its size. For two people you feel as sardines. Pillow uncomfortable and they have only one type that’s it.
4- no kettle in the room, not even complimentary water in the mini fridge.
5- Very loud !!!!! air conditioner and room was very hot looks like it did not work properly
6- corridors were dark you cannot see even handle. Keys work each 2-3 times. Mostly does not
7- very old outdated rooms
8- blinds broken
9-no breakfast in the hotel
10- old bathroom not with the glass but with the curtain !!!!! Toilet ? space very narrow and small. Towels smelled “funny”
And restroom in the hotel was out of service can you believe it ?!
Really that what you get in manhattan for this price! I cannot say it is cheap. I was staying in hotels in London Paris Madrid Barcelona Rome Milan in downtown and never have such a horrible room. Do not recommend at all!

Exceptional
Close to subway and uws Central Park . The staff was very nice and I love that you give free water the little things like that make a big difference
Nothing really. I wondered about room service but I see why you don’t have it with two restaurants attached to the hotel

Poor
Excellent location across from Lincoln Center
Old and outdated decor, peeling wallpaper in our room. No joke, no exaggeration: 3 of 4 main elevators were not working first night. Elevators to roof top lounge not working second night. Foot traffic to rooftop lounge routed through hotel, including next to our room, with noise lasting until midnight keeping us awake. Loud street noise on lower floors noted by other guests. Staff apologized, but not much they could do except ask revelers to lower their voices in the hallway (rooftop lounge is not owned by the hotel). Not what we expected for $500 (room, tax & "resort fee") per night. So, honestly, we won't return and can't recommend to others.

Poor
Location
I did not like the Waterbug in the shower. I also didn't appreciate no heat until complaining. Then it went back off. The room carpet was ripped, and the mattress was cheap. Also, the toilet was clogged maintenance had to come up.

Very Poor
Location is good.
The hotel lacked air conditioning when the outdoor temperature was 42°F at night, and the room temperature was approximately 62°F. We approached the hotel staff, who were unhelpful and shouted at several guests complaining about the cold rooms. We emailed the hotel manager but received no reply. Overall, it was a disappointing experience given the high rates.

Exceptional
The location is excellent and also close to my family that lives there. Can’t beat being between the Lincoln Center and Central Park. Also many excellent restaurants close by
It’s naturally older so the plumbing is a little slow as sinks don’t drain well but nothing too bad

Good
proximity to the Met
no breakfast option, no coffee in room, shotty bathroom fixtures, stairwell from 5th floor to lobby was confusing without any prompts as to where the lobby was. Even pressing lobby elevator prompt, couldn't find any way out without getting help
