The hotel was very nice, it has an old New York Vibe. The staff was really nice and friendly.Housekeeping was top drawer, bathroom was very clean!
Problem with the heater, the room was a refrigerator. Maintenance came 2x to try to fix it. They gave us extra blankets.
Huge Tear in Rug! Suitcases got stuck!

I booked a junior suite. It wasn’t available and I was downgraded to an entry level room. Worst of all, the staff member at the front desk initially framed this as an “upgrade”, and did not reflect a discount to the correct entry level room until I got to the room and then called him. This is unacceptable dishonesty.

The location! Close to Central Park! Walking distance to many landmarks including Madison Square Garden. Not that crowded so rather quiet area for NYC.

Beautiful hotel- lobby , rooftop bar and staff were fantastic. It was so nice to stay at a hotel that oozed old school glamour, individuality and service. We loved the ‘ the shining’ style carpet in the rooms- so cool! Staff were extremely helpful and courteous, providing bottled water on demand . location was excellent- near subway station and very short walk to Central Park.Housekeeping excellent- very clean and room serviced daily. we feel that we payed a very reasonable amount . We would love to stay here again.
