Exceptional
The location is excellent and also close to my family that lives there. Can’t beat being between the Lincoln Center and Central Park. Also many excellent restaurants close by
It’s naturally older so the plumbing is a little slow as sinks don’t drain well but nothing too bad

Very Poor
Location is good.
The hotel lacked air conditioning when the outdoor temperature was 42°F at night, and the room temperature was approximately 62°F. We approached the hotel staff, who were unhelpful and shouted at several guests complaining about the cold rooms. We emailed the hotel manager but received no reply. Overall, it was a disappointing experience given the high rates.

Locations and friendly staff
The room size was ridiculously small, especially the bathroom. I expected a nicer room for that price.

Perfectly located near everything I needed to do.
The rooms are very small and cramped, and there is no morning coffee.

Poor
The location. The free water. Easy to store luggage too.
I stay in NY a lot. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Overly expensive with the worst tiny, dirty bathroom. I even switched rooms because the grout in our first room was disgusting. The second room was slightly better but still bad and definitely not worth the over $500 for the 1 night. My husband works in Hotel Operations and I’m so relieved that he had to pull out of this trip.

Pleasant
The bed was comfortable and reception love giving water out. Staff were really friendly and helpful too. The rooftop was also great.
The bathrooms and rooms are quite run down. Old and noisy air con units (although quite effective!). Pay a bit more for a bigger room if you like a bathroom with more space - I ended up upgrading after one night so I had more space. Even the Superior rooms have very tight bathrooms. Some of the bedrooms have inner facing windows so you can see right in to other people's rooms if the curtains are open, and some windows do not have blinds. No room service/coffee or tea making facilities available.
