This stay was disappointing from start to finish. We had to move rooms multiple times due to a broken shower and various issues, each move came with mix-ups. Staff were unhelpful and at times outright rude. We were also double-charged for a room, and although it was eventually refunded, it took nearly two weeks for the funds to reappear.
The room key cards never work at least twice a day you will need to get them re-done.
We requested a late checkout and were reassured several times it could be arranged, only to be told on our final morning that it wasn’t possible due to the hotel being “overbooked” — despite this clearly not being the case. This was especially inconvenient as we were travelling with a toddler and had a late-night flight.
Just wanted to let people know as often these trips are very important are really longed for.
Overall, the hotel feels very basic for the price charged. The location is the only real positive, but the property itself is in serious need of renovation. I would not recommend it based on our experience.

Gorgeous and very comfy; convenient
Always my 1st choice when staying in Manhattan. This visit was first time someone asked for my keycard to see if I was staying there before I went inside

Great location, friendly staff, fantastic roof bar!
Air conditioning in the room was not great. Pool is small (slightly misleading from the advertising & website as seems bigger but no dimensions given) & highly chlorinated so not ideal to swim in…

The staff were friendly and the main parts of the hotel looked spectacular.
There is very little natural light anywhere, and the blind was broken in the bedroom.
The air-conditioning was very noisy.

The hotel is in such a great location—right next-door to Lincoln Center and some great restaurants. It’s within easy walking distance of Broadway shows, but it’s not caught up in all the craziness. I also love the fact that Central Park is so close by. It was fun to see how well loved and well used that park is. The energy is truly beautiful.
No complaints here

Great location, large, comfortable bed, easy check in, big tv, mini fridge
Room was in serious need of renovation. Blinds didn’t work, so they installed a shower rod with curtains, which then blocked the air conditioning, so the room was hot. The shower and sink spewed water and made a huge mess. There were holes in the carpet. The hallways were so dark we needed to use a flashlight to see where the key hole was (and we have good eyes). If this had been several hundred dollars cheaper, it’d be fine but at this price it was a let down. No coffee machine.

We love this location. You have amazing access to the city, but the feel of the UWS is more relaxing.
There was some construction happening while we were there. It wasn’t incredibly disruptive. Just a bit noisy. I think they might have been building out some sort of additional amenities though, which I’m sure will be a great addition.

Disappointing
I only liked the location, the comfortable bed and the rooftop bar. The restaurant looked good with great views also.
The hotel is very tired and dreary. Looks better in the photos. In the Queen room the Wallpaper was coming off, the carpet looked like it could do with being cleaned, the chair was shabby and material coming off. It was also very small. Sharp corners on the base of the bed such a tight squeeze for two people. Room keys were constantly disabling for many guests. Were told it was because they were sensitive if against mobile phones or ear pods. My key was never out the drawer and still didn't work. The swimming pool which is actually a plunge pool again looks more glamorous in the photos.
Paid the room up front which was confirmed at check in. Used another card for the $150 incidentals fee. Noticed they had taken $430 no one could explain why which resulted in us being late for a tour. Eventually explanation given the following day was they didn't take full amount from 1st card the other $280 was the shortfall. Flimsy excuse. Said they would speak with accounts to sort this out quickly.. Asked for this to be in writing. Received no email and still waiting on the unauthorised amount taken 5 days later.
Would not recommend!
