Good
Excellent location. Well connected to the subway lines. Nice rooftop bar and Rosa Mexicana were in the same building. Very efficient concierge service and front desk
Our Air conditioner was not working on day 1 and nobody bothered to act on it until day 2 after I called several times. Eventually they moved us to another room as the AC was broken and could not be fixed.

Location is great, lobby is beautiful
The rooms are not that great, very small and outdated, front desk was not kind at all, the pool is one of the main reasons i booked this hotel but it is so small we didn’t want to go at all, but in the pictures it looks completely different

Disappointing
Location was great. Lobby too.
Pool area was underwhelming. Not as pictured/advertised. 80 degrees in the room
Thermostat did not help cool the room.

Staff was fairly friendly, location great. Our room the first two nights was very bad. Room 328.....Very old! Black mold in the bathroom, old vanity, ripped up wall paper, corner of the bed looked like a dog had chewed it up, the t.v. did not work, AC didn't feel cool. The pillows are so hard and the mattress was hard. Terrible sleep both nights for all of us. The room felt gross despite being clean. The shower sprayed water all over the floor. We also paid for two queen beds but it was a suite with a pull out sofa that was made up when we walked into the room . My son did not sleep well on the sofa at all. When I told that same front desk agent that we were supposed to have a room with two queens, he said no ma'am, those rooms go fast. He was dismissive about my concerns.
The room needed a big time refresh. Also coffee maker in the room would be nice since there is no coffee service in the lobby and the Mexican place does not offer to go coffee. I complained to the front desk hoping they would empathize and extend a free night of free parking or take something off of the room but the agent seemed like he could care less after I politely shared the feed back.

Very Good
Excellent location, lobby very elegant and recently redone. Beds very comfortable and the rooms interior looks to be redone, but they need better pillows - very lumpy. Overall excellent value for price but it is not the level of a true 4 star hotel until they do upgrades.
As consistent with other reviews the bathrooms everywhere are in desperate need for upgrades and really does detract from the enjoyment of the stay. Worked for an overnight stay. Also the rooftop pool is deceptively small and dirty, but the views from there are great.

Wonderful
The location,
When I arrived, I went to the bathroom & closed the bathroom door whereupon I couldn’t open it. I had to meet friends for dinner before the theatre, so called twice before someone came to fix it. He said to use a small coin in the lock next time to open it!

I love the location. And the staff is always so friendly and helpful.
The room could be updated. The bathroom especially needs some work.

I wish there was coffee/tea available somewhere in the hotel: if not in the room, then available near the front desk.
