Good
I wish there was coffee/tea available somewhere in the hotel: if not in the room, then available near the front desk.

The lobby is very nice.
So for this property I was thinking it was an upstairs bar at the pool and the pool had a lot of kids and very small.

Very Good
The property exterior and interior are nice. The location is great. We loved the rooftop bar and Mexican restaurant. We had an excellent check-in by a wonderful girl; unfortunately, I lost the paper with her name written on it.
The bathrooms are tiny-tiny, and the room and the bathrooms are old. The rooftop elevator is slow, also.

Poor
Good location near Central Park and Lincoln Center. Like Rosa Mexicano restaurant.
Peeling paint everywhere, in disrepair. Room has no closets or places to put anything. Not very helpful staff. For example they didn’t even make up the fold out couch but just gave us stuff to do it. They didn’t provide enough towels for all guests in our party and were slow to correct the mistake. The pool was tiny and hard to access.

Poor
The location was great!
The rooms were so outdated. And they smelled. The carpet was dirty. It just felt so dirty bc of how old everything was. I’ve stayed at better quality hotels for about the same price in nyc. I wasn’t expecting luxury, just didn’t realize how outdated the rooms would be.

Very old and noisy A/C. Could not open windows to get some fresh air. Old bathroom doors with chipped stained paint.

This is my favorite ? hotel in New York, and I always choose to stay here. I absolutely love everything about it—the perfect location, the warm hospitality, the spotless rooms, the beautiful views, and the amazing rooftop pool. It has the charm of classic old New York while offering outstanding comfort and service. The front desk team is always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely kind. Every stay here is a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone ?❤️❤️❤️

Very Poor
The location. I came for a show at David Geffen Hall. And it's literally directly across the street. I had a great time at the Samara show. And the staff at the hotel was nice. I also enjoyed both restaurants I visited.
We paid $600 for ONE NIGHT AND THE ROOM WAS NOWHERE NEAR UP TO PAR. And was the size of a shoe box. I tried repeatedly to see if management would do something about my experience, after submitting proof of room conditions via pics. Nope. They have done nothing!!! There was even a DIRTY, USED BANDAID in my shower that a previous guest obviously used and "housekeeping" left it right there!! ? (feel free to see that in the pics). The room was RAGGEDY! For $600?? I realistically expected a lovely experience.

Nice location. Good desk staff. Price not bad for the location.
No small appliances. Dark hallways. Lobby always full of loud and rude people. Strange, dark little cramped room.

The room was a nice size. Great location.
I just think the bathrooms need to be remodeled the bathroom cabinet was a little, not so nice and the caulking around the tub and there was a couple holes in the shower wall just a little rough. I think it needs a little face

Wonderful
The staff was wonderful The bellhop was most helpful in storing our belongings prior to check in so we could attend a matinee play. Check in was pleasant and we were given complimentary bottles of water and were told we could ask for more if necessary. We requested extra towels for the room and they were delivered promptly. The upstairs bar was great and the hostess sat us promptly and also came back to tell us a better table was available to watch the Knicks game on TV. The drinks and avocado dip and chips were good. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet for sleep. Location was great. Steps away from Central Park and the Kaufman Music Center where we saw a concert. Neighborhood felt safe to walk. Plenty of restaurants and Starbucks in the vicinity. Was a great stay.
Rooms could have better lighting in them.
