Very Good
The rooms were spacious and easily accommodated our family of 4. The elevators never left us waiting for long and the physical space of the hotel is beautiful.
It is conveniently located near almost all subway lines and many amenities that FiDi has to offer.
3 of the 5 nights of our stay the fire alarm was activated in the early morning hours (3-5am), waking us all and that was a big nuisance. In fact, it’s rare on almost all of our previous trips as a Family, so it was particularly alarming to our children, and of course disrupted sleep.

Disappointing
Beautiful, far to busy to enjoy
Very loud. Noise from club till 3:30am. Lack of hot water for shower. Definitely not work 1k a night.

Ronin at the front door was wonderful. The atrium and reception area.
No value for the money, slow service at restaurants and hidden fees

I loved the upgraded suite, the size and layout suited my purpose. I loved the quality of the furnishings and the attention to detail. The bar and atrium were exceptional and a true winner.
Definitely, coffee in the room. As two coffee addicts, it was an effort trooping down everyone morning to pick up coffee. A welcome note and nightly turn down service would also be a boost.

Architecturally stunning! The attention to detail was impressive.
Noise! There was no getting away from it, whether it be from the inside or outside, til the wee hours of the morning.

The hotel took us to another world – back to classic 20th-century New York. Everything was simply perfect: the reception staff, the entire team without exception.
Breakfast was high-quality and delicious, and the bar-restaurant was absolutely outstanding.
From the elevators to the lobby, every detail was designed authentically and beautifully.
The location in Lower Manhattan is excellent, just a few minutes from the Brooklyn Bridge.
Highly recommended!

Wonderful
The hotel itself was beautiful. We appreciated the antique and historical space with all the modern convenience one would desire. The staff and on site concierge service were top notch.
On site restaurants were not only convenient but were very good. The Sunday Jazz brunch was wonderful.
Our room was up-graded upon check-in (without asking).

I've stayed at The Beekman several times, and it continues to be my favorite hotel in NYC. From the beautifully appointed rooms to the stunning bar and unbeatable location, everything about this place is top-notch. But what truly sets it apart is the staff—always warm, professional, and attentive. Every stay has been exceptional, and this time was no different. Already looking forward to my next visit!
If there’s one area that could use a bit of improvement, it would be breakfast. I’m not sure if it was just an off day or if there was some miscommunication, but our entire order came out incorrectly—from my iced latte arriving hot, to receiving scrambled eggs after asking for no eggs at all, and my friend’s meal being the opposite of what she ordered. That said, we didn’t make a fuss and still enjoyed the meal, but a little more attention to detail would go a long way. Even so, it’s not a deal breaker—I’ll absolutely continue dining there during my stays.

Architecture, high energy, location
The check out process was very inefficient. High charges for services including a resort fee.

Good
The property is beautiful and has so much character. The rooms were clean and the service was great.
The noise from the atrium bar/restaurant (and the noise from the street) made it really difficult to sleep. We asked for a different room for this reason and were placed one floor up, even closer to the atrium. This is reason enough for me not to return, as rest/sleep is what I need most from a hotel.

Gorgeous classic NYC hotel. Perfectly up to date fixtures and amenities but styled to harmonize with the old time architectural style. Amazing attention to detail. Staff goes above and beyond expectations.
The neighborhood is a little noisy- as you will find almost anywhere in Manhattan.
