Exceptional
Very good location - near major subway station in the FiDi district with Battery Park, 9/11 memorial, Brooklyn bridge within a few minute walking distance. We visited mainly Manhattan - all our destinations were within 20-25 minutes via transport. Numerous places to grab a bite nearby - Joes Pizza, Taim, Poke Bowls.
Friendly stuff - polite and ready to answer questions or check if something is not ok even at 10p.m. Impressive.
Living space and amenities - We rented two units - one with 1BR and another with queen size bed. The space was opulent given New York Manhattan standards, with good kitchenettes (especially 1BR studio with good storage space). You also have access to washing machine / dryers if you are looking forward a longer stay and a rooftop garden on the 15th floor. Clean, well maintained.
It is not something we didn't like but be warned - room cleaning is not included in the price. You should order it separetely.
Another warning - the AC is turned on 24/7 (at least during summer) and there is noise coming from the unit (although we found no problems falling asleep).

Very Good
It was near the Occulus, Brooklyn Bridge & Wall St, & the Fulton St subway station, & around a 20-minute walk to Battery Park & the ferry to Liberty & Staten Islands. Entry into the apartment building & apartment was via code number entered into a keypad - no card to carry or lose. The staff were generally responsive & helpful to our reasonable requests. The apartment was a 5-minute walk down the street to an Asian-run grocer which was reasonably well-stocked. Though it was a no-bedroom apartment, the sofa bed was near the kitchenette, while the TV was in the area where the double bed was, where there was a single-seat sofa, a small coffee table & a bed-side bench. That area served as the de facto living room. The apartment had a Peloton which has a monitor that plays spin exercise videos that one can folllow, & a long study table with powerpoints, & 2 study lamps & 2 office chairs. However, we didn't need to do any work there. There were washing machines & dryers in a common room on the 7th floor, a toilet in a lounge on the same floor for emergency use if the sole toilet in the apartment was occupied, & lockers for storing luggage in the lounge for a check-out time with plenty of time to spare before one's flight.
The immediate neighborhood of the apartment was dinghy with a unsavoury character approaching us for help on the first day & a rough sleeper standing on the sidwwalk mumbling to himself. The kitchen sink was blocked when we moved in. Thankfully, that was fixed the next day when we texted the apartment via their app the night before. Any request after 6pm was best put in via the app for fulfilment the next day or otherwise raised with the fronk desk person in the morning. The night security person who takes over from the front desk person from 6pm couldn't help with housekeeping matters. A vent on the ceiling of the bathroom was thick with dust. The bathroom door creaked quite loudly when opening or closing. That it was very close to the double bed didn't help. The laundry detergent pods in the common laundry room tended to run out. Thankfully, they replendished it with normal laundry detergent when we requested some. While there was a dishwasher & dishwashing detergent tablets in the apartment, there was no dishwashing liquid supplied. Lastly, the rental rate for the apartment was high & probably the highest for what it offered, compared with anywhere else we had booked, but was probably normal for NYC.

The location is very convenient, and it also feels safe. It is close to WTC and various subways. The room is clean. The laundry facility is very useful.
