the room they transferred us to was bigger and well appointed.
There was a night club in the hotel and directly opposite the road. All floors seemed disturbed and despite being in one of the 'quieter' rooms we literally had the room vibrating with the music on the first night until 4am. They gave out ear plugs and it was inappropriate as a place to stay unless you were partying all night. It calmed down on night 2 - but they had told us to expect the worst again. The spa was shut 'for renovation' - the restaurant too and there was non facility in the hotel for even coffee.

An absolutely terrible experience. The room was unbearably noisy because the hotel has a nightclub and bar playing extremely loud dance music. The pounding bass and music could be heard clearly inside my room throughout the night, making it completely impossible to sleep. After I complained, the staff moved me to another room—but it was just as noisy as the first one. The extremely loud nightclub music could still be heard clearly, and I simply could not sleep. When I complained again, the staff apologized and admitted that they were aware of the problem, but said there was nothing they could do about it. A hotel’s most basic purpose is to provide guests with a place to sleep, and this hotel completely failed to do so. If management is already aware of this serious noise problem, guests should be clearly warned before booking. I did not sleep at all and left feeling completely exhausted. I would never stay here again and strongly recommend avoiding this hotel if you expect even a basic level of peace and quiet.

The views are truly amazing, especially on the upper floors. The floor-to-ceiling windows just add to the special atmosphere and make the whole experience feel very New York.
We booked two rooms, and unfortunately one of them had an unpleasant smell that could not be aired out even with the window open. At check-in, we informed the staff that our son would be sleeping on the sofa bed and asked for it to be prepared by 9 PM. They confirmed this and even asked whether they could prepare it a little earlier, which we gladly agreed to. However, by 10:30 PM the bed still had not been made, and we had to call reception three additional times before someone finally came to prepare it. We stayed for a week and requested an ice bucket on most evenings. Unfortunately, the service was consistently very slow. On one occasion, the ice arrived so late that we had already gone to bed and did not even use it. Overall, the main disappointment was the level and speed of service. For a hotel in this category, we expected requests this simple to be handled much more promptly and reliably, although the staff themselves were always very friendly and polite.

The staff!! There was a gentleman at the front desk that helped me with everything. Very appreciative for his positive attitude.
The spa level was a little hard to get too. The middle elevator took forever to open.
