#501, good service, ample closet space for the the larger jackets and clothing required for the winter, extra large shower size, area to house our luggage. Location is prime for us as we like being closer to chinatown and option to be able to go out to the restaurants we like in the neighborhood.
#501, lower floor than our usual, a bit noisy in the evenings, not enough lighting in the room, the mattress too soft and terrible water pressure in the shower.

Exceptional
Perfect location for exploring Lower East Side, Soho, East and West Villages. One block from subway (F) so also easy to get to other parts of the city. Clean, modern, nice size studio. Oh, also lots of vintage clothing stores nearby on Orchard St. What's not to like?
The on site restaurant is an excellent sushi place but I don't think you can get any other cuisine via room service? It would be nice for breakfast at least to be more traditional. However, Russ and Daughters is a short walk away and there also a couple of coffee shops close by.

Pleasant
Liked their sushi restaurant
Apparently Manhattan allows bars to play extremely loud music till 4 am. A bar behind hotel kept waking us up.

Wonderful
Location and atmosphere of restaurant and style.
The room features (primarily the drapes and window dressing) need repair/replacement. Overall it is apparent that a “facelift” is what the room could use.

Poor
I stayed at this hotel last month and was impressed by a relatively modern room and good view. So, I rebooked the hotel again because it's close to everywhere and F train station, 2nd Ave.
During our second and third night, we were woken up by loud music at 2 am and it lasted more than two hours even we called the front desk. We called the reception multiple times because the neighbor did not turned down music but the reception did not take our calls. I assume they did not want to hear complaints, nor confront with the guests. It is unprofessional and may create dangerous situations for other guests.

Wonderful
Location fabulous. 24 hour desk was nice.
The room was VERY dark. Hard for my 80 yr old mother to see the space and bathroom. Had to have windows wide open to really do anything.

The best room I have ever stayed in in NYC! The view was simply spectacular; one wished to remain in the room all day. Perfectly comfortable bed. Very friendly and efficient staff. Great, relaxing bathroom. All very clean. Everything impeccable.

Location is great. Also nice big rooms
The open bathroom is a real negative things. Also our room was on the 10th floor facing the back street, which is full of bars and clubs with music banging until very late - difficult to sleep

We wanted to spend the holiday weekend by the pool and found a room last minute. The room was lovely and comfortable and the pool was great. I really appreciate that they allow you to stay by the pool after check out.
The food at the pool was super expensive and small for the price. Pool could have been slightly warmer

It’s a beautiful spacious perfectly located hotel. The rooms are large, the bathrooms are luxurious and all amenities are accounted for. I even had a huge soaking tub and terrace! The Blue Ribbon Izakaya was phenomenal and there is a lovely hang out spot on the second floor.
The elevators are maddening. They are sooooo slow and the call button frequently just goes dark for no reason so IF an elevator is on its way, it actually will skip your floor. The front desk staff were hit or miss. Some were warm and efficient while some were miserable - snappy, irritable, negative and gas lighting. Housekeeping and engineering were lovely and very helpful.

Very Good
Hotel location is in China town or lower east side. It's close to everywhere; particularly to F train.
My room was in front of elevator though I requested a quiet room. Though it was not so bad in terms of noice.
