We stayed mid-week for a girls weekend. The location is amazing for restaurants and bars. There isn’t a lobby but there is a second floor area that’s very nice to chill in. We were out and about.
The black decor is a little nightclub for me but the room was clean and comfortable.

Very Good
reception desk always staffed with highly qualified personnel normally multilingual. True find !
Location unbeatable downtown...
Room was clean and housekeeping staff most flexible
I would have to do even more research when/if I return NYC for hotel booking and area of city
complete facts of booking, the "experience fee, tho noted but not specified really angered me. It's a game put on by owners that's simply dishonest and abusive, bait and switch? Build this cost offset into nightly rate. That fee actually ended up costing another nights expense, essentially.
No "real" F&B facilties per se, an independent asian restaurant open only at dinner? Yet there are lots of choices in the neighborhood, but that means leaving building when you might not be able to or even not want to...

Jr. Suite is large for Manhattan. Bed and linens are excellent. Restaurant was good!
This probably was a 4 star hotel, but it is not anymore. Our room is in rough shape, there’s a total lack of care evident. We were greeted by a dirty elevator, dust and fibers stuck to the ceiling. The hallway to our floor featured a flickering light bulb and an exit sign half detached hanging from the ceiling. The room is big! But quickly it falls apart - dirty corners, worn and scuffed doors and woodwork, frayed towels in the bathroom. A booger on the curtain. Our room was serviced during the day as you’d expect - only one fresh towel (for 2 guests), no refill of the coffee pods (so we woke up with no coffee), basically they just made the bed. Stains on the couch. Spa is under renovation and not available for use. You can tell by the design that once upon a time, probably early 2010s, this was a hot hotel. But if you give up, don’t maintain it, don’t pay attention to the details (the difference between a 3 star and a 4 star), it means there will be better options available. At over 500 a night outside of peak season, this hotel is not your best choice.

Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room had a great view!
We were on the 17th floor and asked for our kids room to be near us (they are 18) and they were put on the 3rd floor. The housekeeper who was cleaning our floor was constantly opening and slamming her closet supply door across the hall from us which was very jarring and made it hard to relax.

Hotel staff super friendly and accommodating! Great location in the LES,

Everything was really nice. The decor and style is great, everything is clean and minimal
The tv’s. Could not get Apple phone to connect to the tv’s. Tried for a few days and was supposed to have someone fix it but that never happened. Otherwise everything was excellent

The location cannot be beat. In the heart of LES with views of Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg bridges from the room. The bed was very comfortable, and the restaurant, Blue Ribbon was great for dining and for in-room service.
The rooms were a little dated, with some wear and tear, and also in the elevators.
