The room was surprisingly large and included a sofa and desk and plenty of room to walk around, not typical for a Manhattan hotel room.
There was a long line to check in and to check out. It's a large and popular hotel so the lobby was always crowded, particularly because we visited during peak Christmas vacation period.

The location was absolutely perfect and what we wanted.
Unfortunately our room was on the small side which made it a little difficult for my husband and I and two children to move around in. Our bathroom sink had a leak.

Location made it easy to navigate.
Chose this hotel in March for a girls trip in December because it offered adjoining rooms. Checking in the attendant tells me that they don't look at the requests until you're checking in and they don't have any left. She was terribly rude. Manager wasn't much better. Told me there's a difference in requests and reservations.
Worst of all I booked with booking.com and they charged my credit card for the price of the rooms any way and refused to remove it. I now have to waste my time getting those charges fixed.

Nice location and friendly staff. Rooms spacious and always clean. Mattress was so good. Great nights sleep!
Windows need another layer as the noise from outside is annoying, luckily once asleep it didn’t wake any of us.

Recommend staying anywhere else
The rooms were freezing cold in December. We called multiple times for extra blankets and never got through on the phone. Despite multiple attempts we ended up sleeping with our coats and towels over us to get warm. This lasted 3 nights. They told us they were too full to give us extra blankets
The queue are the desk is often so long - over an hour wait
It takes 10-25 minutes to get to your room as there are not enough elevators for guests. Its also a free for all to get into an elevator
We asked for help to get a cab to the airport and they said they could get us aborivate car $130 all in (tip, taxes etc), and when we arrived we were charged $185
You have to pay to check your luggage despite this being a 4 star sheraton
The queue for coffee was over an hour long in the lobby
When we complained they staff were so burnt out by everyone having the same complaints and they obviously could not do anything.

At least 3 Lift were out of order for the duration of our stay with long ques most days, it was very frustrating.

Decor & bathrooms a little bit tired but functional.
We booked a room with two doubles as we are a family of 3, but the beds were queens & too small.
Also bed height is super/high, I fell off the bed and hurt my neck

Its privileged location offers unparalleled access to the city’s most compelling attractions, making it an excellent choice for discerning travelers. On another note The hotel store is exceptionally well-appointed, offering a wide selection of products that conveniently cater to a broad variety of needs.
The room was well maintained, though it could benefit from a bit more space. Additionally, given the scale of the building, there are occasional delays when waiting for the elevators.
