Good location.
Very tired furnishings overall, especially bedrooms. Double beds only & very small. 1 hour queue each morning for a coffee. Only 1 coffee machine & 1 member of staff making the coffees. Over an hour queue to check in & check out.

We chose the commuter breakfast which was ok for the price . Location was great for attractions we wanted to see .
The elevators were dreadful , they couldn't cope with number of visitors. System would just shutdown, people were waiting 20 mins for lift or chosing to climb multiple flights of stairs , not possible with luggage. Queues for check in were very long! Had to ring reception for coffee and tea bags two night running.

Amazing location! Comfy beds
Check in lines were lengthy ( we waited 1.5 hrs) and lobby was full of ppl waiting each day after. Really long lines also in grab and go area, elevators. One of the main reasons I booked here was for the free breakfast buffet, which turned out to be a voucher . Process of use of voucher poorly explained. Additionally, bar service ( which was same place as to go coffee/ breakfast ) had poor service.

I am extremely upset about an unauthorized charge made on my credit card.
I stayed at the hotel over New Year’s Eve, completed my stay, checked out on January 1st, and paid all charges in full at check-out. I have the receipt proving that everything was properly settled.
Despite this, USD 325 was charged to my credit card without my authorization and without any prior notice or explanation of what this amount refers to. This is completely unacceptable.
I have already contacted the hotel by email and, so far, have received no response, which only makes the situation worse. Being charged after check-out, with no explanation and no consent, is a serious issue and shows a lack of transparency and customer care.
I am still waiting for an urgent explanation and an immediate refund of this unauthorized charge.

Location, proximity to Broadway and Central Park.
Check in was a farce, understaffed and took over 1 hour to queue for check in, access to lifts was chaos, patrons did not understand how to operate the lift panels, congestion around lifts made accessing the upper floors a challenge. Our toilet overflowed, our room was noisy due to proximity to lifts and housekeeping area, floor 46 lift panel was faulty so we needed to use the stairs to access from another level. There are no fridges in the room, and the water service was not disclosed until the last day of our stay when other guests advised that there were vouchers for water for guests. The toilets needed access control, however the lifts and stairwell were open access! Whilst we appreciated that this hotel is undergoing an upgrade, some of the main public areas had no carpet and concrete steps/flooring. This was by no means a four star hotel or experience.
