I think location is wonderful. Close to all major attractions such as Grand Central terminal. 5th Ave. Central Park etc. Room was spotless spacious end very comfortable.
My room card wasn't working several times and had to reprogram. It was just a nuisance not a real problem. No other issues.

The location was fantastic! Everything was within walking distance: restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, and easy access to the trains. Getting around the city was incredibly convenient.
The rooms are quite spacious by New York City standards. We booked a Queen Suite for four adults and had plenty of room to spread out comfortably. The suite included a sink, refrigerator, and microwave, which made our stay even more convenient. The beds were compfortable.
The staff was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and always willing to help. We had several packages delivered during our stay, and they were brought directly to our room at the end of each day. The housekeeping team was equally accommodating and quick to provide anything we needed.
Overall, we had an excellent experience and would gladly stay here again.
While our overall stay was very enjoyable, the hotel is showing its age in some areas. The living room furniture could use an update, particularly the couch and chairs. The cushions were worn down and lacked support, making them somewhat uncomfortable for extended use. We did not use the pull-out sofa, but based on its condition, we likely would not have found it very comfortable either.
The hotel itself is somewhat dated, and the seating and common areas would benefit from a refresh.

Great location, within walking distance of the metro and several major tourist attractions such as Grand Central, Bryant Park, and Times Square (all about 10–15 minutes away). Despite being so central, the hotel is on a quiet street, allowing us to sleep very well without any background noise.
There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, which was very convenient.
The rooms are spacious enough and clean.
As we were traveling with young children, we especially appreciated the kitchenette in the room, including a microwave to warm milk — a very useful feature for families.

Location:
From JFK: take the air train, at the Jamaica station, transfer to metro E line, off at Lexington/E.53rd, walk on Lexington for 3 blocks down to E 50th and the hotel is on right side between Lexington and 2nd Ave. So easy!
Very nice and kind stuff.
Wonderful restaurants nearby.
We cannot think of anything we did not like.

The hotel was like a family hotel ,nice and warm greeting has been shown. It was quiet, clean and located in a very safe area. The check in and check out was very easy and fast. A special thanks to Bobby from the concierge, he was very helpful and took care of our wills and organised our transfer to jfk in a very convenient way.

Wow blown away by this hotel! Clean, efficient, friendly, great room, great size. The location is close to everything right in the centre of Manhattan. Very handy to have the microwave and fridge. Cleaning was always done when requested and to a high standard, bags stored when arrival and departure times differ from check in and check out. Couldn't rate this hotel highly enough!

Room size and location
It’s a bit worn. Scratches on the wood in the elevators, some paint needs to be touched up in the room. Light seeps through the hotel door at night. Noise from the room that could be adjoining.

We loved everything! The location is perfect for navigating any part of the city. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchenette was a great bonus. So many NYC hotels do not provide this.
There was some early morning construction outside that we could hear (perhaps that is why they are offering a discount this summer). But, we are early risers, so it wasn’t a problem.
