Loved !!!! This hotel .. the room size is absolutely perfect. All amenities in the room were just on point. Location was very good.
The hotel decor ( especially in the rooms and elevator ) were a bit old .. well it is an old building. Could use some refreshment. It did not bother me so much considering the plus value of this property.

Stayed here 4 nights, the room was a double queen deluxe and was very spacious. Hotel is a good location, not right in the middle of everything but only a 5 to 10 min walk from places like radio city, rockerfella Centre and times square and has subway stops round the corners. Hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. There is a diner across the street that was great and one of the cheaper places to eat that we found, although it was queued out the door on the Sunday morning but fine all the other days we were there. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking somewhere to stay
Would have liked some options in the hotel for breakfast but it isn't set up for that, but there is no shortage of places in new york to ear

The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the rooms spacious and comfortable. My daughter was given a goody bag and balloon to celebrate her birthday- such a lovely touch! Great location, walking distance to many sights and nearby subway station. The linked restaurant was delicious too!

Big rooms in great shape with modern furnishings and bathroom. Nice bright lobby with comfortable seating to wait for uber pickups. Great location in mid-town near Rockefeller Center and Christmas displays.
Very expensive during holiday period but every available room in the city was also very expensive.

Our group found the property to be very clean. We had a group of 4 ladies in room with two double beds and a fold away cot. The room was large enough to still have walking space in front of all of the beds. We were still able to sit at the desk and easily walk to the bathroom without obstruction. The rooms were very quiet with no outside noise whatsoever when it came time to sleep. The sole purpose of the trip for our group was to enjoy the holiday lights and to attend the Rockettes performance. The San Carlos location was perfect for us. We were happy to find the familiar flavors from Starbucks sitting a very short diagonal distance away. The subway was also very close to the hotel. Rockefeller Center was approximately a 15 minute walk.

Unbeatable location. Nice large, quiet, clean room.
Lack of food and drink facilities. However please note, there is everything you could need within a 5 minute walk so it wasn’t a problem.
