Location is great if you want to visit sightseeing of lower Manhattan (incl Financial district, SoHo, Chelsea, Chinatown, Little Italy etc).
Lady at the reception Jane helped us very much
1. Very noisy! If windows of your room face the street (and most of the rooms do) you will have really sleepless nights even with earplugs. And if you ask to change the room with backyard view, you will hear the sound of elevators.
2. Rooms are not really clean and need renovation.
3. Terrible customer service from manager. We had a problem with our card when the hotel was trying to hold the deposit. The manager told us that we HAD TO LEAVE the hotel if they couldn’t block the sum although our stay WAS FULLY PREPAID. Lucky for us the reception lady managed to fulfill the holding.

Comfortable bed, kitchenette,
My first room had no heat so I had to move. Everything looks beat up and dated… the ceiling in my shower was pealing…. The elevators were slow to arrive and the doors closed in about 10 seconds and I bumped my head on a closing door… and I paid $250 for this

Wonderful
A very well situated Hotel just a hop away from WTC and The metro stations. The staff was super helpful and always caring for their guests. I liked the take away option at breakfast and the little mini market you could choose from all day.
The elevators sequence is either faulty or the 2 operational elevators are too few for the amount of traffic it handles, but it sometimes took over 10 minutes to hop in to an elevator!

Good
The breakfast was simple and good. The bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.
I travel a lot and it’s very rare to arrive at a hotel and have the receptionist say that they have a room ready, but we would need to pay $50 for an early check in. For me, that’s how you lose a client. The room will sit empty and I would be a much happier guest if I could leave my bags in the room. The room wasn’t spotless clean and the fridge was so noisy.

Very Good
very good location - near subway stations and nice part of downtown, staff were friendly and helpful, free laundry machines available for guests, bed was comfortable, facilities/room were clean, good breakfast with variety
mattress on sofa bed was thin so you could feel the metal bars underneath, not much natural sunlight in room due to window facing courtyard between tall buildings

Pleasant
We had a generally good experience during our stay the hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location.
Our stay at the hotel would have been great if it weren’t for one front desk staff member named Heidy, who managed to turn an easy checkout into an unpleasant experience.
At check-in, two different staff members clearly told us we could pay in cash at checkout, and we confirmed that more than once. When we returned to check out, Heidy insisted that the hotel does not accept cash at all. Instead of trying to clarify or help, she chose to be rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. The worst part was that when I was speaking to her, she pretended not to hear me, ignoring what I said until I repeated myself multiple times. It was disrespectful and unnecessary.
It’s baffling that someone with that kind of attitude is the face of guest service. A simple, polite explanation would have been fine but instead, she acted as though she was doing us a favor just by acknowledging our presence. The rest of the staff were kind and professional, but Heidy’s behavior overshadowed everything else.

Wonderful
There was an issue with my order, as I needed to cancel my last night and the request felt between the cracks between booking.com service and the hotel but the hotel staff were gracious and cancelled the last night anyway.
