The room and the property were both adequate for our expectations.And needs , and the location is great.
I think many of the staff members we interacted with were pleasant and helpful.However, there was a particular front desk agent.That was rude, discourteous and dismissive.

We had to ask several times for cleaning
We were charged extra at the end of the stay and I could not manage to get in contact with nobody in order to clarify

Location: used the NYC metro to move throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, and almost all metro lines stop closeby, providing a definite logistic advantage
Hotel entrance looks like a service entry, Lobby is located upstairs (3 floors), elevators are very often super busy. Luckily we were assigned a room in the lobby floor and we were taking the stairs most of the time.

All was good. It was expensive, but that is to be expected in New York and during the week of Christmas.

The location of this property is excellent, out of all the noise & crowds but next to subway stations and an easy short walk to Battery Pk & 9/11 memorial. Shops & good restaurants nearby. The rooms were spacious & clean with very comfortable beds, good storage, a safe & a fridge & microwave. Breakfast had a good choice most days. Our flight home was cancelled & they were very helpful allowing us to rebook the rooms we were in for another night.
