Pleasant
Location
The property was decent at best. It definitely needs renovated as it’s very dated and mold and corroded spots in the bathroom. I always stay at Residence Inn but this one is nothing like them, but maybe because it’s in Times Square? Towels were dingy, funky smell when running the water, rooms not cleaned properly as there was dust, hair, and other randoms things still in the room upon check in. The only good thing about it was its amazing location, but I would stay again. Staff were great though!

Loved the views! Staff was courteous and helpful, ESPECIALLY, when our LYFT driver canceled 10 minutes before arrival to take us to the airport....Staff arranged within one minute to have us transported by their hotel service for a fee.
Beds were TOO hard, didn't have extra blankets, and the NOISE from the elevator and housekeeping staff (their closets on either side of both rooms we had) was 24/7! Had a little wait for thr elevators that were super small. Overall, very pleasant and cozy when not sleeping.

Wonderful
Amazing view from our room, and great location, also the breakfast is decent.
Rooms need a bit of maintenance, e.g., bed frame had scratches and carpet had some patches. Also, our window opened by itself while we were sleeping due to strong winds, but the problem was addressed quickly and received partial reimbursement for that night.

Wonderful
Location was great. Clean facility, staff encounters were pleasant. Housekeeping was great and we did have a few hiccups and the staff was responsive.
The AI phone lady, it was useless. Just bypass it and go straight to a real person and you will get help. Pills were super flat.

Very Good
The breakfast is great, and the location is amazing! I was able to find a good deal while searching, and it was the best cost-benefit to travel with my family.
It’s clear, or maybe just bad luck on my side, that reservations made through Booking are treated differently than those made directly through Marriott. I wasn’t able to use the app, which would have been pretty helpful, and when I reached out to customer service (both Booking and Marriott), neither knew how to help. I’d suggest checking prices on both Booking and Marriott, since you can often get a similar, if not the same, price directly through Marriott.

Very Poor
During our four-day stay at the Residence Inn, we were assigned a deteriorated and dirty room (Room 4401). We even had to request a replacement of the AC filter, which was covered with about two inches of mold and dust.
Throughout our entire stay (November 26th to 30th), only two of the four elevators were operational. After waiting 20–30 minutes at a time, we eventually realized that the only reliable way to reach the lobby was to walk down the stairs from the 44th floor to the 32nd floor to access the courtyard elevator. Even on November 30th, our checkout day, we had to walk down the stairs with our suitcases and backpacks, which resulted in an injury to my left knee.
Additionally, I would like to point out that our room was not serviced during our stay because the hotel staff could not access our floor.
The only person who showed genuine kindness, listened to my concerns, and offered a practical solution to ease my frustration was the hotel’s Operations Manager, Jamie Bond. He approved a partial refund for our stay, for which I am sincerely grateful.
The room was dirty and in poor condition, with a moldy AC filter.
• Only two of the four elevators were working, causing long waits and unsafe stair use.
• Hotel staff could not access the floor, so the room was not serviced during your stay.
• Walking down many flights of stairs with luggage caused injury.

Great location. Close to everywhere. The view from the 51st floor was amazing. There was a small kitchen in the room, coffee machine, a work desk. Staff were helpful and always smiling. Breakfast was OK, nothing massive but it does the job.
Our biggest problem was the heating in the room. It just didn’t warm up and outside was close to freezing. We called in the technician but it wasn’t fixed afterwards. The duvet was pretty thin for late November too.

Very Poor
Location, near Central Park, Time Square
Extremely poor elevator service, walked down 34 flights of concrete stairs for breakfast.Fell down steps. Front desk staff won't assist. Purchased Thanksgiving dinner @ $55.00 each, waiter walked passed us twice, once we received food cold and tasteless. Heater filter loaded with dirt. STAY AWAY!
