Excellent location right in the heart of Times Square. Everything is there the theatre district, restaurants and bars. Amazing location and spectacular views of Times Square!

Just the location
The elevator service was down. We had to climb up the stairs to get to our room. The room was not the cleanest. Decor was shabby and did not match. The lobby, elevators, hallway were stinking. A serious let down.

I had a suite and was told at 130 it was empty and they would have it cleaned right away and would call as soon as it was done un fortunately they never called when I got back to the hotel at 4 o’clock because I was tired of waiting they said oh your room is ready, but they never called me and the girl who told me she’d call me right away said to me I say all kinds of things we have problems with the TV reception was terrible
We then had terrible noise in the room when getting ready for bed when maintenance came he said oh water pipes on the roof he said there was no way we could sleep in that room. He was eventually able to go up and shut something off which we appreciated nonetheless very unacceptable considering how spending $1000 a night.
For )1000 a night I would’ve thought I could’ve at least gotten a couple of bottles of water. I’m also a Marriott member that I didn’t have to pay $13 for and a little bit nice attitude from the help the woman who was at the desk when I checked out was nice she did give me a credit small credit to the room, but I have to say I was not happy and I have stayed there several times.

The rooms were clean, and the view was awesome. The location is in Times Square is superb. Staff were friendly.
During our 3-night stay, we wanted to speak with the concierge to get recommendations for dinner reservations. He/she was never at the desk, i went to the restaurant and the snack store twice to see if they could find him. They said they would call someone and send him our way. We waited and waited but he never appeared. The staff were all friendly, but this made us feel like they were covering because either they didn’t have one or he really wasn’t there.
Housekeeping staff were terrific!
The lobby directly in front of the elevator was under construction. It looked pretty rough, but there was no signage. Getting on and off the elevator was difficult at times due to workmen on ladders. It was LOUD. It’s a temporary situation, but could have been managed better.

Location and cleanliness
I came in on 1 January from town and the staff was allowing some ladies to take half decent photos in the lobby. I’m sure this can be captured on the cameras if the hotel wants to investigate. I felt like it was inappropriate for the staff to allow this.
