Location was very convenient. The rooms were comfortable.
The lobby was closed for renovation and the temporary setup was very inconvenient. The entrance to the hotel and the elevator to to the lobby smelled awful. AC unit in the room could not keep up with the heat outside

The lobby/ entrance is under construction.
Entrance so dark and nerow.
It was bad experience for us.
The kids were afraid to enter the Hotel alone.

The room was massive best location ! Right in Times Square , the beds were so comfy and great air Con and even a fridge!
A lot of renovations going on.. which we weren’t informed about… lifts are a nightmare day and night … the big heavy guard outside the lift u think he was shouting at prisoners rather than guests! No atmosphere in the lobby or the bar no restaurant either!

Disappointing
The staff were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The staff in the on-site shop were hit and miss, though. The location you can't beat, literally on Times Square, and easy to find. The rooms are very big compared to other hotels I have stayed at in New York.
Major renovation work going on which was not mentioned anywhere, had I known this I would not have booked it. The lift to the lobby took forever both ways and could only take 8 people at a time. The decor was tired and needed revamping, and I felt that it was overpriced for what it offered. The beds were really small, and the bathroom vent channelled either the room above us or next door's tv, which they had on in the early hours of the morning. The lighting in the room is also very dim.

Horrible gouging
Brusha at front desk knows what she is doing & was indefatigable in accommodating me & my brother. Her service was “above & beyond”. However- UNSAFE UNPATROLLED AREA JUST INSIDE UNMARKED DOOR AT TIMES SQUARE IS V UNSAFE!
An obese guard is upstairs hanging around in busy lobby & he has nothing to do at that location!
