The rooms were clean, and the view was awesome. The location is in Times Square is superb. Staff were friendly.
During our 3-night stay, we wanted to speak with the concierge to get recommendations for dinner reservations. He/she was never at the desk, i went to the restaurant and the snack store twice to see if they could find him. They said they would call someone and send him our way. We waited and waited but he never appeared. The staff were all friendly, but this made us feel like they were covering because either they didn’t have one or he really wasn’t there. Housekeeping staff were terrific! The lobby directly in front of the elevator was under construction. It looked pretty rough, but there was no signage. Getting on and off the elevator was difficult at times due to workmen on ladders. It was LOUD. It’s a temporary situation, but could have been managed better.

Disappointing
We had a reservation for two rooms with two queen beds for four people, and we paid more specifically for this room type so each person would have a comfortable bed. When we arrived on Saturday night, we were informed that no queen rooms were available, and we had to stay in rooms with only one king bed to be shared, which was very inconvenient for our group (one elderly person, one 12-year-old child, and two adult women). Only on Sunday around 10:00 p.m. were we moved to the correct queen rooms. Unfortunately, one of the rooms had a leaking bathroom ceiling, with water dripping throughout the entire night. Because of these issues and the hotel not honoring our original reservation, I would not recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel, staff were amazing and great experience for New Years Eve ball drop as the penned off the path giving excellent views would highly recommend. Also central place to see all the sites and close to subway.

Great location in the heart of Times Square. Bus stop outside for open top tour so easy to navigate your way around the city. Staff helpful, rooms are a decent size and kept really clean. We stayed for New Years Eve and the hotel were great at helping us navigate the restrictions on the day. Hotel had security/police at the door, felt really safe.
Shower was outdated so was hard to keep the bathroom dry when showering. It was really forceful so not enjoyable to use.

Location and cleanliness
I came in on 1 January from town and the staff was allowing some ladies to take half decent photos in the lobby. I’m sure this can be captured on the cameras if the hotel wants to investigate. I felt like it was inappropriate for the staff to allow this.
