The room was spacious, great views, really comfortable although a slightly noisy AC which we turned off. also access to the gym next door which was a very good gym and also a great coffee place. Great location.
The bar on the reception level was great, and a really comfortable lounge. the bar and restaurant on the 4th floor though was really dark and gloomy so wasn't a fan.

Super location right near Penn Station, we booked a skyline room and were delighted with the fantastic views. Fabulous decor throughout the hotel, great coffee/bar/dining, excellent staff always friendly and happy to help.
In room coffee facilities, the machine leaked everywhere, perhaps a kettle instead or better coffee machines. This would not stop me staying at this lovely hotel

The view from the room was great. Reception and other hotel personnel very helpful. Location central. Close to Times Square but not so close that the crowds bother you when you come out of the hotel. And close to Penn Station and subway stops.
The old fashioned air conditioning heating at some point started blowing cold air instead of warm air. Despite two visits of the building engineer, it was not fixed. Hotels in NY should better invest in modernizing their facilities and not just ask for incredibly high rates for their aging hotels given what they offer. Coffee in the room and the coffee machine could be better and preferably [;ace a Nespresso machine, not cheap filter machine. Another thing I didn't like so much was the fact that the walls did not seem plastered and painted though I learnt from the manager that it was done so purposefully. It may be personal, but I thought I booked a room in a hotel in Manhattan not in a museum of modern art...
