Good location, close to Penn Station
Very loud (not only street noise, but also their own bar venue, the air ventilation that cant be turned off and is way too cold in winter as well, doors, everything), a lot of dirty spots (couch, floor, ...), terrible elevator system (like 30- minutes-wait terrible), hot water missing in "shower rush hours", check-in line almost an hour and some more minor inconveniences. For that price tag: sorry, no.

We had an incredible stay at the Renaissance Hotel in New York! The location is absolutely perfect, making it super convenient to explore the city. Stunning coffee shop and an amazing bagel place, literally next door.
The views from our room were breathtaking, giving us a real "New York City" experience right from the comfort of our space. Staff were beyond friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

Amazing location!
Very nice room, and lobby etc. Bar is lovely and they do a complimentary first come first serve cocktail on weekdays. Complimentary waters in a fridge you can take when you wish. Allowed us to check out late for free!
Not many facilities e.g did not have a pool but this is also standard for NY hotel

We were travelling to New York for our Honeymoon from Australia. We were staying at the Renaissance for Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
The hotel has a modern aesthetic, with interiors that reflect the New York energy. The lobby has a wonderful bar and they have live music every Wednesday.
The room was comfortable and larger than expected for a new york hotel room. The rooms are also extremely clean.
The hotel staff are very attentive and they provided a room upgrade to a higher floor which was greatly appreciated as we were staying in new york for 6 nights.
The hotel is in a prime location, within walking distance to a number of attractions and close to several subway stations.
Overall the stay was fantastic but please note that it can be very loud with sirens, events etc.

Absolutely loved everything about our stay! It was close to everything, the subway station, shops, different restaurants and was easily accessible when we needed to catch Ubers. Staff were always friendly and room was spacious and the view from the 18th floor was top notch for us!

Centrally located with easy access to subway, Penn.Station and walking to many sites. Room was fairly spacious and bed was very comfortable.
Check- in process was pretty disorganized and there were very few places to put away clothes.
