i liked the concept. i rented a twin room and they upgraded me to a queen room. they allowed me to check in at 10 am because a room was available, so that was helpful, in order to store my suitcase.
the bed was too hard for me. i don't hold that against you.
but... there were long dark (head) hairs on the walls in 3-4 places, an advil on the floor behind the toilet and a big booger on the mirror that was by the front door. a full length dressing mirror. i did tell the desk staff about the advil and the booger as i checked out and they were responsive to fixing the issue.

Great minimal living comfort. Had everything we needed for a short 2-night stay
Even though it was on manhattan near to Times Square, grand central etc. it still felt that little bit out of the way and a long walk back.

Hotel was near to the United Nations Headquarters. Very easy to locate and near to Grand Central to commute to any part of the city

The hotel is in mid-town, so the location is great for reaching different parts of Manhattan. It's close to a lot of shopping and food places. The staff helped sort out a check-in issue I had with one of the initial rooms. Overall a good place, considering how expensive New York can be.
Some of the room configurations, hence the initial change I had to make. I wish they provided a mini fridge for people staying more than 3 nights. That would help with having cold drinks or storing food that you don't finish.
