Staff, room, location were all great. Staff was super nice and helpful. Rooms were big for New York. Value of the food was good too.
The WiFi and TV services were exceptionally slow. It was difficult to even watch live TV.

Mo and Frankie always did an excellent job at Berk’s Bar, and the food was always great! Lenny the Doorman was always very friendly.

Great location, close to everything. Nice, friendly staff. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom, not very clean toilet, dust and hair on the floor. Our room was a "king-size bedroom", but there was only one bathrobe, and the lack of disposable slippers was disappointing. The air conditioner was humming all night we couldn't turn it off. Otherwise everything is great.

My family got an upgrade — from the suite we booked to a larger one. The location was great, bedroom and living were room spacious, and bathroom was excellent. We were on the 14th floor and had an excellent view too.

Everything was great. Small facts could improve like the elevators are a bit slow so we often had to put ourselves in line to get in our room, and my room was a bit dusty.. overall great!

Great location. Nice, friendly staff. Pretty lobby. Restaurant/bar and room service had surprisingly great food. Large bathroom & mirror. The armoires were useful (though made room even smaller). Elevators were fast, no waiting even on NYE. Always someone at door to help with transportation options. Overall pretty clean (shower head was one exception)
Rooms are TINY, like a closet. I’ve stayed in many small NYC rooms, this one takes the cake. If someone was standing at the foot of the bed or inches from the TV, those on far side of room could not reach the bathroom. it’s TINY like 4 people living in a large SUV type of feeling. The door to our particular room was next to someone else’s within a tiny foyer which itself looked like a locked hotel room door so we had to go through 2 tiny doorways every single time we entered. This might be great if you were in a group sharing two rooms, then you could lock door to foyer & unlock the room doors but for us it was a huge inconvenience. It was like crawling through a tunnel every time you entered- so cramped. Neighbors or staff kept propping foyer door with the safety latch even though it wasn’t locked, so every time it would shut it would make a loud bang that would wake the dead.
No fridge or microwave or coffee maker in room. Half a roll of toilet paper & 3 towels for 4 people. 4 flat pillows. The comforters weren’t long enough to cover both feet & shoulders (& I’m 5’2”) & if you pulled them out all the sheets came untucked b/c there are apparently no fitted sheets, just tucked in flat sheets. No extra blankets so just put a towel on your shoulders if they’re cold (if you can get extra). The shower head was moldy though the water pressure was great & bathroom large.
The bar/restaurant in the lobby that also provides room service has great food. Amazing avocado toast & great truffle fries. But the service in the restaurant the night we ate there was horrific. Room service was great though.
We were in the elevator with a couple who had just arrived & he had clearly gone up first. She said “is the room nice?”. He looked at us pondering whether to be polite or honest, then looked at her & said flatly “it’s adequate but NO, not nice”. So that pretty much sums it up.

The staff , they changed our room without our permision and when I asked for the same room they just said the room is not available . No sorry or let us know what we can do to help you. The attitude was rude and not welcoming.
