The location was perfect! Close to Rockefeller Center, Central Park, and Times Square. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The casual bar/restaurant was great for a drink or quick dinner.

Concierge was kind to offer different options for places to eat. Lenny was phenomenal in helping us understand easy walking directions to local coffee shops and attractions.
I requested coffee pots for each room PRIOR TO arrival. However, no coffee pots were in our rooms. We did not complain on the arrival, as we decided to go to a local coffee shop for coffee. But it would have been nice to have those coffee pots for early morning brew.
The restaurant service was a little lacking. It was not very busy for a Saturday night, and we weren't very demanding. In fact, 2 of us wanted dessert. The waiter never asked if they wanted dessert---THEY had to ask HIM.

This hotel has an incredible rustic vibe and is really a neighbourhood gem. The staff is just amazing and so lovely and kind. Also a huge plus for adding the ping pong table in the lobby, people are having a great time with it (even with the chandelier in the way!)
WiFi quality is just unacceptable for the level of the hotel. In today's day and age, when internet is so accessible and cheap - to not be able to do work without being continuously disconnected from the network - just a big gap. One more thing from this visit - despite us clearly having 3 adults in the room - the sofa bed wasn't turned into a bed and we had to ask multiple times

Mo and Frankie always did an excellent job at Berk’s Bar, and the food was always great! Lenny the Doorman was always very friendly.
