The bell men were fantastic and helpful.
The front desk staff were not welcoming. When checking out we weren’t even asked how the stay was. Guessing they have heard it all. We got stuck in an armpit room with stains on carpet, and the headboards were all peeling. Sad representation of Omni.

Comfortable bed, beautiful room, nice amenities. What made this experience even better was the staff. They were always cheerful, helpful and went above and beyond to help us. Great location! They even have the famous Lenny the doorman working there. This is a high-level hotel without the high-level price.

It is hard to explain what a disappointing experience paying for an upscale hotel and getting a rundown property. While the staff were extremely courteous, the hotel has not been renovated in a very long time and was shabby at best.
We reserved a king deluxe room, but the room was smaller than most Hampton Inns I've stayed in Manhattan. We upgraded to a larger room, which had s pealing headboard, a TV that they couldn't get to work scratches and tears in the dressers and a scuffed up sink. All for an extra $75 a night. The bed in both rooms was soft and unsupportive leading to backaches
The fitness center features two peloton bikes, but both were not working and they knew nothing about it or how to fix them. This lasted the whole time we were there. If you use their fitness center, there is no bathroom either.
They were nice enough to give us a larger suite albeit by an elevator. Even here the bathtub was clogged up and I requested it to be repaired, but the repair did not happen during our stay.
This hotel is definitely not worth the money to stay in.

Hotel staff very curt and wanted to charge for every ask which normally at a higher end hotel the customer service and experience is elevated to promote return customers.

This hotel is a grand and beautiful older hotel. Common spaces are lovely and have a wonderful NY atmosphere. All staff from front desk to front door to restaurant to housekeeping are professional, knowledgeable and warm. Rooms are comfortable, but a little worn and outdated. But I heard a renovation is coming soon?
Regardless, I will stay there again even as is!

The hotel itself is beautiful. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, large bathrooms. For a midtown hotel, the accommodations are nice.
We arrived to check in at 6:15PM. Our room was not ready, as the hotel staff mentioned they still had to clean it. I’m unsure how this happens when check out is at 10am ish, and check in time is 3PM. We were asked to wait “10-20 minutes.” 45 minutes later, the room was still unavailable. We had dinner reservations and needed to change, so they allowed our party into ANOTHER room (not ours) to get dressed, but advised us “not to dirty it up because it’s already clean for someone else.” When we came back downstairs to get the keys to our room, it was STILL not clean, and it was now 8PM. I truly couldn’t believe it. The staff did apologize for the inconvenience, and when I went to check out they had comped our stay entirely. They did right by us in the end, but I still can’t wrap my head around how this happened.

We were celebrating my granddaughter’s 10th birthday. We were able to go to our room early, were upgraded, and in the afternoon a gentleman, Jamal, appeared with a fabulous birthday cake and delicious cookies and juice. Everyone was very attentive. The accommodations were lovely and very, very comfortable. No one could’ve been nicer.
It is a bit of an old lady and could probably due with a little perking up here and there. My Granddaughter did especially think the lobby was attractive.

Disappointing
Location
We chose Omni Berkshire Place specifically for its Omni Kids program, hoping to make our 3-year-old daughter’s stay extra special—just like her friend had experienced. Unfortunately, the overall arrival experience left us quite disappointed and exhausted after a long day of travel.
Nothing was provided proactively. I had to ask at the front desk just to receive a basic coloring set, and we never got the kids' tote bag in the end. I also had to call Guest Services to request our complimentary member morning drinks and the evening milk and cookies.
To be fair, the staff members were very polite and attentive. They sincerely tried to help search for any remaining kids' totes, and their service attitude was wonderful. However, having to personally track down every expected amenity made us feel unnecessarily tired.
The hotel’s location is excellent and the team is kind, but it lacked the extra touches that make the Omni experience unique. My daughter was quite disappointed, and as a parent who carefully planned this trip around those details, it was a bit heart-wrenching

Excellent stay. Great location and very clean. I also liked the shower - water pressure is really good.
Two small points: there is no water dispenser on each floor, only ice. It would make much more sense to have water available so that we can refill the bottle. Also, the bed in the standard room is too small for a couple.

The staff were absolutely lovely! My friend and I were there for Zedd in the park. Although we live in the city, it was better for us to get a hotel room. And we were treated so well! From checking in to leaving, we had no bad interactions. When I checked out, I asked the blonde lady at the front, whose name I did not catch, if a bag could be provided as I had try on dresses for a wedding I’m a part of. I needed to return before the end of the day. She was so friendly and offered me a variety of bags. Her kindness did not go unnoticed! Check in staff deserve raises!

Staff was excellent. Doorman fantastic in aiding to help with taxis. Norm in the dining room provided stellar service. All in all could not have asked for a better place to stay. I was here for an extended stay with my brother who was receiving treatment at Sloan Kettering and everyone treated us like family.

The lobby was nice
The room was not very clean and the shower felt like I was gonna fall through the warped floor. Also, there was no refrigerator or microwave and I thought it was supposed to have a fridge. Also, they could use a vending machine or snacks in the lobby.
