Location was excellent very close to all major locations. Room was fair could use some updating and some fixing of the bathroom. No ventilation left the walls and floors super wet when showering.
The bell men staff downstairs were excellent helpful and super friendly A+ to them. The reception staff were friendly enough helpful to a degree. Wouldn't give us more than one umbrella even tho we were a family of three. The greeter at the restaurant was super rude and unapproachable. Very unpleasant to deal with.

The view from the hotel (that I paid for of course) was nice. That’s about it. Everything else, including the staff and their bloody attitudes and dismissive demeanors were a huge turn off. Will never be back and it’s a shame, really.
Horrible staff and attitudes. Every time I’ve come down to the desk over the course of 2-3 days- it’s someone new but they all have “piss off” attitudes. Down to the bartenders. You will stand in the line or sit at the bar for 30-60 minutes before they even acknowledge that you’re sitting there. Then, they will act as if you’re inconveniencing them. Horrible. Just horrible. I will never be back or recommend this hotel to anyone

Loved the location and the vibe. My front desk person was Mr. Alvin and he has made me a lifetime member of this resort! He was patient and very kind. MY husband and I enjoy our 30th anniversary with his hospitality even more! He is a viable asset to this resort chain! Everytime I come to NY, my family and I will b at this hotel! Thank him, Please.

This place is awesomely located, right in the middle of theaters, plenty of eating options, E line subway nearby.
Times Square itself is a bit of a hovel, particularly at night.
View from the room great. Staff helpful.
Really good mini mart directly under the hotel for all supplies.
Lift from the street level to the reception is slower than reception to 17th floor.
