Perfect place.
1) Absolutely mismanaged organization of breakfast during the weekend. 80-90 seats at the table were not enough for so many rooms. When the hotel was managed by Novotel, there were much more space in the huge lobby.
2) The reception is on the 9th floor of the hotel. It is not pleasant to stand in line for the elevator upon arrival and departure. During our stay, one of the elevators was not working and it was difficult.

Good location, we walked to the shows, 5th avenue, nice restaurants. View of the river from our room. Room cleaner was very nice.
Small bathroom, grab bar would be nice as the tiles were slippery. It would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room or free coffee in the lobby in the morning.

Literally just the staff in the morning SOMETIMES. Nothing really.
ROOMS. Awful smell welcomed us but we couldn’t cancel just because we already have paid for it. 300 $ DEPOSIT JUST FOR 3 NIGHTS. “Each night is 100” when we heard that we thought there is something really special in the room but there is not even a kettle in the room. THE STAFF NIGHT TIME. What was my check in night? A behavior of a lady that literally wasn’t welcoming when I reacted to the 300 dollar deposit (Ive been staying in 5 stars never payed 300 dollar deposit before even in miami) so even if I did I am surprised isn’t it normal? Why would you give me an attitude when I was surprised? Besides, the room was stinky. We tried to keep it cool but would never be a hotel I would go for second time.

Asked for adjoining rooms, paid more for doubles to get this when singles would have done. Arrived and told there's no adjoining rooms, not even rooms on the same floor. Lack-lustre aircon. Beds and pillows too soft.

Love the view from the room facing Broadway. Located within walking distance of the places we wanted to visit.
TVs are not smart TVs, so we could not cast from our tablets like the instructions in the room or on the TVs stated. Would not have minded, but when we are told that that is a service and then find out it is not, it casts a shadow on the basic integrity of the hotel.
