The room was sizeable by NY standards. The location is just off Times Square so good for a lot of sightseeing and the view from the terrace near reception is outstanding.
The bathrooms are a bit outdated although very clean. The entrance at level 1 is not very inviting until you get to the reception.

The location, food
Long queue at the breakfast. Don’t pay for breakfast if you are staying at this hotel. From 7:30 to 10 you wait more than 30 min to get a table. Other than that the hotel is nice.

It was a good value for the location. The lobby had comfortable seating with access to the bar and outside deck. My room had a perfect view of Times Square and the location is in the heart of the theater district. It felt really safe with a doorman and security at the street level entrance. The driver of the car service available to take to the hotel was terrific and knew all the best back ways to get there fast.
There was a mixup on the 2nd room that I booked. It was supposed to be another Time Square view but the front desk said there was not on available and later billed me for a 1 night stay as a "no show" booked through Booking.com.
