We had a fantastic stay! The location was excellent to many things , with so many attractions, many restaurants around even a quick McDonald’s right outside , and transport links just a short walk away, making it easy to explore New York. The room was also surprisingly spacious, especially by New York standards, with plenty of room for our luggage and a very comfortable layout. Everything was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
One of the first things we noticed was that there wasn’t a coffee machine in the room, which is something we would normally expect.
Despite the name, I wouldn’t exactly describe this as a Times Square hotel. It’s around a 10-minute walk to Times Square, which may not sound like much, but the name gives the impression that it’s much closer.
The security deposit charged per night also felt excessive, especially considering there isn’t much in the room that could realistically be damaged.
The biggest issue came at check-out. At around 5am, we were unexpectedly presented with a city tax/resort
Fee of approximately $40 per night. We were completely blindsided by this and believe it should have been clearly explained at the beginning of our stay, rather than being a surprise when checking out and charged once checking in not checking out. On top of the hotel chargers and all the taxes another fee at the end of the stay didn’t seem fair.
Another inconvenience was the lack of a taxi stand outside the hotel, which made getting a cab with luggage early in the morning more difficult than expected and Brooklyn sunrise we had to beg a taxi driver to take 6 of us in a 5 person cab for 100 dollars so we didn’t miss it.
Overall, the hotel was acceptable, but these issues took away from the experience and could be improved with better transparency and guest convenience.

The view from he room was amazing. The location is amazing, with the rooftop view over times square for breakfast. If the 35USD for breakfast are too expensive, the little cart just at the entrance is nice and has good bagels and eggs.
The only little downside was the absence of coffee machine in the room, but with the cart below it was not such a big deal. (they don't serve coffee at the bar after a certain hour in the day). And well of course it's super expensive but the experience is great.

What I didn’t like most is that I use to order some stuff online to be delivered to the hotel office boy, and I every order I receive I have to pay fees for the lobby for keeping my order

This hotel is great value for the location, the views, and the rooftop bar. It's super close to subway stations, time square and Central Park, but it wasn't noisy or hugely busy. The staff were helpful and easy to commincate with prior to arrival.
For a nice hotel it feels like it could have more amenities - laundry, pool/sauna, bigger gym.
