Very Good
Clean, great location, helpful staff, excellent view of Times Square area from veranda bar
Elevators were slow and had to take 2 to enter or exit property. Not enough places to hang towels.

Where to begin?
I was very nervous, traveling solo as a woman and then staying in a hotel by myself. Needless to say, everyone at the hotel made you feel seen, heard and welcome.
I have to shout out at these particular staff members: Luis and Peter manning the front door. John, Stella and Darlene at the front desk/Concierge were spectacular. I will be booking a hotel stay in December as my experience was top notch at this hotel.
The only aspect I would change: I wish there was a staircase option from the Street Level to Lobby Level. That way everyone who has suitcases, can use the elevators and us walkers can walk right up the stairs.

Fair
The location was good.
Although I wrote them the invoice details before check-in, they couldn't yet provide me the invoice.

Wonderful
Easy to get through elevators with how busy it was. Loved that they let us check in early and keep our luggage after checkout.
Waited 20 minutes sitting at the middle of the bar inside saturday afternoon while being ignored by the female bartender just to get finally seen by the male bartender. The bar was not crowded and we were just getting passed over like we were invisible. Not the best last impression before leaving

Disappointing
The location if you like crowded places. This is not a hotel for families with younger children.
The rooftop and the restaurant
1. We arrived early to the hotel, downstairs the hotel has a suitcase area to leave your belongings before your check in. The guy in charge gave us a ticket. A few hours later when we picked up our suitcases he gave us an extra luggage. First mistake
2. Keep in mind the hotel will charge you $100 per day. We spent 4 nights, they charged $400. Our surprise next day the hotel charged an extra $400 because the receptionist made a mistake with my husband's name. The reason it was another guest with the same name??
In compensation my husband asked the manager for free breakfast that we used only two times very bad quality breakfast for the price) and a few hours more to stay before our check out. He admitted the mistake and accepted the compensation. But he never offered we asked for it. 2nd mistake
3. Same day of the extra charge we arrived to our room and the door was open and a black glove in front of the door. We complained with the service cleaning room lady but we decided do not complain with the manager. We were trying to avoid more conflicts in a family trip. The lady complained with her supervisor and they were discussing the situation next day close to the room. 3rd mistake
4. And last. The day of our arrival we saw the front desk receptionist lady treated a guest in a very bad way. She was asking him yo sit and wait for his turn and the guy was very quite and polite. He didn't see that a lady was in front of him. She made him feel very overwhelmed and the young guy was embarrassed. She was rude., unprofessional and inappropriate to the customer with her behavior. We know this is NY but manners are the same in the whole world. 4th mistake
5. The manager received our complained about the situation through Booking customer service and he tried to apologize if we felt they were rude with us. My advice for you and your team you should consider to take a few trainings of emotional intelligence very good when you treat with clients/people every day.

Good
Well located. Comfortable bed.
It’s very busy. The lifts were often too busy and waiting around. Popular with school trips which is annoying when you’re on a business trip! The bar is lovely though.
