An hour for check-in is absolutely crazy for such a small hotel. Allocate 30 mins to anything you are going to do since that is how long you wil be waiting on elevators. They need to change their system.

The view from he room was amazing. The location is amazing, with the rooftop view over times square for breakfast. If the 35USD for breakfast are too expensive, the little cart just at the entrance is nice and has good bagels and eggs.
The only little downside was the absence of coffee machine in the room, but with the cart below it was not such a big deal. (they don't serve coffee at the bar after a certain hour in the day). And well of course it's super expensive but the experience is great.

What I didn’t like most is that I use to order some stuff online to be delivered to the hotel office boy, and I every order I receive I have to pay fees for the lobby for keeping my order

The best location! Hotel had a nice rooftop bar overlooking Times Square. Our room was clean and spacious enough. Friendly staff as well.
The only complaint would be that there was no complimentary coffee in the room or in the lobby. They do provide a $10.00 credit per day towards a beverage but that covers two very small coffees. Many other hotels offer for free! Also, the main desk was not aware of some of the perks that they offer like renting CitiBikes at a discount. They didn’t know what we were talking about but they advertise this perk.

The hotel’s location was very convenient, especially for exploring Times Square. The housekeeping attendant was friendly and helpful, and they did a great job keeping the room clean.
Delta canceled my flight because of the weather, so I needed to add one night to my stay. The front desk told me to contact reservations, but neither the hotel, the reservations department, nor Booking.com provided timely assistance despite my calls and emails. I did not receive a response until 4:48 p.m., even though checkout was at 11:00 a.m., which was extremely stressful and unprofessional.

The location
The room and bathroom were very small, and the room was not clean. During my week-long stay, the mirror and floor were never properly cleaned. Housekeeping only made the bed and changed the towels. There was no kettle, no coffee machine, or any basic amenities. The only good thing about this hotel is its location.

Wonderful
We loved returning to this hotel after so many years and finding it just as welcoming as we remembered. The facilities were well maintained, the staff was friendly and attentive, and our room offered a spectacular view of Times Square. We especially appreciated the hotel's unbeatable location, which made it easy to enjoy everything the city has to offer.
We honestly have no complaints. Our stay met our expectations, and we would gladly stay here again.

It’s a central location - but also probably not worth it. Rooms are decent size too.
Worst hotel experience I've ever had!
I travel extensively across the US, Europe, and Asia, and this was hands-down the worst hospitality experience of my life.
The entrance itself sets the tone: it looks more like a nightclub than a hotel lobby. From there, things only went downhill. The bell staff were tactless and unhelpful throughout our stay. Housekeeping forgot about our room entirely at one point: they kept delivering fresh towels without ever removing the growing pile of used ones, which sat there for days.
I was checking out by myself as my fiancé had to leave due to work circumstances.
The in-room phone didn't work, so I had to call the front desk from my personal mobile to request help with our four suitcases. After waiting over 30 minutes with no one showing up, I ended up hauling all four bags to the elevator and down to reception myself.
Then came the billing. Our final invoice showed charges for meals and bar purchases we had already paid for directly, by card, at the time of service. When I flagged the double-billing, the hotel initially refused to issue a refund. I only got it resolved after I provided proof of the original charges and had to insist, loudly, before they finally corrected it.
The final straw was checkout. A bellboy wheeled our suitcases out to the street and simply walked away. He didn't even help get them to our driver, who was waiting a short distance away. It was pouring rain, and I was left standing outside alone with four suitcases. Our driver ended up running over, leaving his car door open, just to help me himself.
Genuinely the most disorganized, disrespectful service I've encountered anywhere in the world. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The front desk staff at check in was friendly and informative.
The location was perfect for our needs. Close to our conference location and to shows.
The room was good sized.
WIFI was terrible. We had the (paid) wifi as part of our booking, we received the wifi log in and password at check in but we could not get any of our phones or laptops to connect or in the few moments we did connect, it would not stay connected very long. That made it very difficult since we were on a work trip and needed to respond to emails etc. For dinner reservations we ended up disconnecting from wifi on our phones and going to the lobby for better service.
2nd thing- the tv/remote rarely worked. Admittedly we didn't call the front desk because it was always so late when getting back but, 1/2 the buttons didn't work and we would have to pick a channel 10 away and work backwards to try and get to what we wanted. Generally the remote did not work.
Lastly, the room was mostly clean. There was some remanence of the previous guests in the bathroom/shower. Everything else went pretty well.
