Poor
The location - thats it. A 10 second walk to Times Square with numerous attractions within walking distance as well as good transport links to others.
Don't be duped by the pictures, I'm not the first to say this and I won't the last.
The price - I paid $1300 for seven nights, the room I had wasn't a $185 per night room.
The noise - There were foam earplugs by the side of the bed, not sure if these were for the noise coming from the construction site across the road or the Air Conditioning that rattled constantly through the night. The windows weren't even doubled glazed.
General state of the room - It looked tired, sink was cracked, tap fitting didn't fit the sink, door handle on the bathroom looked like a replacement.
Cleanliness - Although it was cleaned when we asked it would seem it wasn't thorough, we found a voucher dated underneath the bed dated the 03/03/2020, we checked in on the 14/03/2020.
The bar - Was never open and looked nothing like the picture.
The staff - Not one of them had a smile in them until the day we left.

Poor
The staff were friendly.
The lighting in our room was so dark. It felt like 10pm at night in the morning even with the lights on. The view was of a wall.

Very Poor
Extreme disappointment as the construction site beside my hotel room window sledge hammer all night and it was impossible to sleep with this constant noise all night...the staff should of warn me or at least not out anyone on this side of the hotel.
My worst experience ever in a hotel

The location
The room did not match the lobby, it was very small and the bed was very uncomfortable. Our room keys did not work the entire stay, and we had to visit the lobby many times until someone would just let us in our room. The elevators are very very slow and small

Pleasant
Location was convenient because it’s in the heart of Times Square. Staff was as friendly, although pushy about taking a car service from their hotel rather than subway, Uber, taxi, etc.
Super loud! Thankfully they provide earplugs but it’s still loud. Construction going on adjacent to across the street from hotel made it worse. Wish that had been disclosed prior to booking. Rooms are tiny, tiny. Elevators are slow & only one was w

Good
Location was right on time square
Basic ,safe and clean . Good for sleep only . City view is not a view at all Technolgy your looking At the city ..at a nasty old building across the street . Elevators were limited to 1 which only held 4 people and no luggage. Older small hotel . We were only in city for one day and needed place to rest and relax . No sitting area . I’ve stay in other hotels in city and tried to save I couple bucks this time as I was with a buddy I’d taken to see NYC sO it was ok and served its purpose but I would. Not advise staying here for a mini vacation with a spouse. with so many others awesome options for not so much $ more I would look elsewhere if your budget allows . For my wife and I half the fun of traveling is feeling spoiled in a nice hotel ... not crazy nice but 4 stars. You will feel safe here but certainly not spoiled . There will be not mint on your pillow

Very Good
Right in the centre of Times Square. Great location. Comfy bed and clean rooms..
Lifts were a bit slow. Paid extra to be upgraded to a queen room with city view. Had no city view. My room had a view onto a building site and still got charged for city view?? Only realised when I got home that I was charged for the city view.

Good
Location, staff were friendly, our price included city tax, overall good stay for price
Too warm, windows didn’t stay open on their own, we had to wedge it open with a box, lighting in bedroom and bathroom were quite low, didn’t have coffee facilities

Location was great! Bed was uncomfortable. Staff was friendly. Room needed updating.
Bed could have been better and construction was load day and night! I want informed about construction before booking! You will need ear plugs.

Disappointing
The beds were mostly comfortable and free of bedbugs. The location is excellent.
Tiny tight room with myriad basic maintenance oversights: loose toilet seat, loose faucet spigot, broken tiles, exposed carpet nail strips, pealing wallpaper, etc. Oyo soap is the worst I've ever tried to use.
