The location and the hotel stuff. They were changing the towels every day.
Basically, if you need a hotel in the center of New York just to sleep, then it's okay. However, I have many complaints about this hotel. Starting with the fact that it positions itself as a four-star hotel. There was no refrigerator, coffee machine, or kettle for tea. The room was very small; only two suitcases could fit. The TV should also be bigger for a four-star hotel. And of course, there weren’t even any slippers. We paid for a deluxe king room, but they initially checked us into a room where the exhaust fan was working very loudly. It was impossible to stay there. We asked them to solve the problem, and they moved us to another room. It was even smaller and had no window. On the first night, we froze because the air conditioner was working strangely. We asked them to fix it, they did. Thank you. Towards the end of our stay, the toilet started to malfunction. Overall, the room was dirty when we checked in. There were a lot of other people’s hairs and even a trimmed toenail on the bathroom floor. The whole hotel is in need of repair. The walls are battered and chipped. I won't even mention the floors. The hotel staff were good, responsive, and tried to help as much as they could. Thanks to them for that. Probably, for that price, it's normal to get such a room in Times Square. But I would expect to know that from the beginning. Because neither the description, nor the stars, nor the photos matched reality.

Location and staff
Room was damaged, the window was taped together with duck tape and the walls were all marked and the bed was on the verge of breaking. So were the plugs, almost falling out the wall

Location was great. Right on Times Square, end of block was the red steps of Times Square. Beds were comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful.
Hotel needs renovating, there was paint peeling off walls, carpet needs a deep clean, window seals broken around window which caused a draft which was not great in winter, heating made a loud noise which you could not have on through the night, shower in one of our rooms did not work, not enough bedding in the room

Hotel location is fantastic and so easy to find. Value for money for sure.
Matress in our room was so bad, it was caved in and hard to sleep without literally rolling into the middle of the bed. The noise all night from the doors banging loudly disturbed sleep a lot.

The bed was falling apart, not fitted correctly. The windows have grey gaffer tape to stop draught coming through. Towels were tiny, just about go round you.

The standards rooms doesn’t have window, it’s dark you don’t see the day light. The room doesn’t have air extraction/window doesn’t open. It is ok for a short stay and just sleep.

Maria at front desk was great! Luggage man and employee who was cleaning washrooms and hotel rooms was a lovely man!!!
Our room had fruit flies in the shower which were also on the walls around the bed. Bed was creaky and uncomfortable. The room felt dirty and worn out upon arrival.

Wonderful
Location is the best .. People who work there was so kind , Maria helped me a lot, thank you. and Daniel who I see in elevator mostly between the floors was the kindest person who I met in NYC. He has a great calming and kind energy , he asked me If Im ok if all is ok with rooms, If rooms are enough clean etc. , Im so happy to meet him ☺️
I was cold first nite, something eas wrong with aircondition, I wore a hat first nite:) But when I told Mary she was so kind directly call the technical service, they gave me small heater ( radiator) and that small mechine saved my life :))) thank you so much
