Pleasant
good location for the surrounding areas. The subway is a short walk.
Rooms are small, Having to pay to use the fridge , already in the room, is ridiculous.

i booked for 3 people this was accepted and when i got to the property they said that the 3 of us needed to share one bed ! king yes but still my daughter is 12!!!! they said a roller bed would not fit in the room we were in but would move us to a cheaper room that could fit a roller ! we were there for 6 days and this never happened ! as well as only being left 2 towels most days until i said something!! disgusting for the price we paid!

Disappointing
Location.
Did not meet expectation as when I booked. Feel mislead into booking the room. Broken tile out of place in the bathroom that you could pick up - hit my feet several times against it (quite painful). Bed head which arches over the bed was coming apart, which made me nervous to sleep and got barely any sleep due to feeling nervous about the bed head collapsing on me. My dry cleaning was not picked up from the hotel so I did not get it back when needed. Asked to speak to the manager several times, with messages left for the manager, unfortunately I was avoided. I got 2 minutes with the manager after much frustration. I was promised compensation for the room, however, that was completely disregarded. I was moved into another room which was totally an inconvenience for me. I had stayed in the initial broken and poorly lit room for 2 nights out of 4 and avoidance by management. Hence, the agreement on compensation. Not what I paid for.

The concierge was amazing and extremely helpful!
The room was tiny, shower knob fell off, air con was as loud as a passing aeroplane, my bed was broken on one side, the refrigerator was $30 to just keep my own items cool and the room was dark as hell.

Disappointing
It's not worth for the price paid, it's too costly, very small rooms, waste of money for breakfast as there is only tea provided in breakfast. Don't stay here, it's too costly with zero services.
Services and size if room, old interior in rooms, no satisfied customer service. Don't stay at all.

Dark and cramped. Some bugs found in the bathroom. Tv always went to max volume when being turned on.

Good
Friendly staff and a good location. The room was a decent size and the beds are comfortable. Very quiet for central Manhattan. They were helpful and provided us with a travel crib for our baby girl. Clean sheets and towels each day. Organised a driver to the airport no problems.
The room felt a bit neglected - our bathroom had a wobbly tap, duct tape on the shower handle, a loose floor tile and mould on the ceiling. The room was a bit dusty and dark, and there was a light broken. The hotel don’t have any kettles which is strange - anyway we had to buy one from a supermarket as we needed one to make up our baby bottles. Also, If you want to use the fridge the hotel charge you $30 for removing the minibar items - even if you put them back. There are scales on the shelves and it’s connected to the front desk so they know when things have been moved... We didn’t touch the fridge so wasn’t a problem for us but I thought it was a bit of a strict rule that you wouldn’t expect from the standard of hotel.

Fantastic location. Starbucks just next door and a block away from Times Square.
When we arrived a kind and thorough female helped us. We then were asked by the Asian guy behind the counter (whom was standing there the entire time) asked for my ID again. I looked at him, puzzled, and said that I put it away as she just checked us in and when finished gave it back. He said "well, I didn't see it". Bizarre! Our TV didn't work for the first 3 days. Someone came to our room on multiple occasions and handed us a new remote. Twice. Then would just leave! Again. Bizarre. Each time! We just gave up on a tv. We were taking pics of my daughter's in the lobby when this same Asian man told us we couldn't take pics in the lobby. That all pics were copyrighted. Lol. I didn't want pics of their pics as they were very inappropriate. (much like 50 shades of grey). We were merely taking pics of my daughters. Again. Bizarre. I told him differently. That we were staying in the hotel. That I didn't want pics of their inappropriate pics as my daughter was young! He still forbid them. I asked to speak to a manager. Whom Never showed up! After 20 minutes of waiting for this no show manager I was then given permission. This time it wasn't only bizarre but I was now fuming. I will not stay there again. One day we were shorted on towels. There was no coffee maker so I called for one. They said they use to have them in the rooms but no longer do and brought us one. So dirty. With used coffee cups and still had dried coffee stains all over the tray. The were a few staff members whom were very friendly and accommodating. One maid and both bell boys. We did too them daily. The rooms are tiny. At had a deluxe King and paid $280 extra for a roll away bed for 5 nights. The bathroom cabinet was very waited and had some serious water damage. Very very insufficient lighting as well. Was a horrible experience to be honest. At have traveled all over the world and this was by far our worst experience.

Good
Absolute best spot for access to Times Square and handy to Grand Central Station and 42nd Street Station for subway use. Great safe area
On our first visit we had a Queen Room and though we'd treat ourselves to City View King Room. Next time, we'd go back to having a standard Queen or King room, as we found the 3rd level City View King Room too noisy for us. Only just above street level. Higher up may be better
