This is a well used property and the staff managed to keep it clean and were very efficient in the restaurant and cafes.
The elevators were a disaster, some didn’t work and we had to use the house keeping elevator or the stairs!
Signage asked for our patience while they were updating the system but according to past visitors it was the same last year. Not acceptable for a hotel that has such a large patronage. The hotel was full of people attending the US Open, people shouldn’t have to wait for five minutes or more and then take the stairs. At times the stairwell was full of people and it felt like an evacuation.

The room initially did not have a refrigerator or microwave, both things that were included in the rooms listing. However, upon calling the front desk and requesting these items, they were promptly delivered to the room, rectifying the issue.

room was as expected. The location was perfect and we walked quite a bit. check-in was easy, the valets were helpful, and the stores had enough. The continental breakfast was also good and well organized.
There was some discussion about the size of the bed and if it was really a queen size. Couch was beat up. We used it as a bed and it was not comfortable and the cushions were busting out the seems. No coffee maker was a discomfort as we were on the 43rd floor and wake up early.
