Loved the location and facilities
The room was a little outdated and could have been a little cleaner

Good
It was clean, and beautiful views with our corner suite.
That they make you spend money on the bar/restaurant there or you lose it. I’m in NY I want to try all the foods.

Fair
Less homelessness and beggars
Very near to where I need to conduct my business.
The room they gave has a terrific view.
Unexpected charges of $400.00 for any breakages.
Noisy
The night stand was broken and was fixed after we complained.
Sheer curtain ripping off was slightly torn and was fixed after we complained
We requested anti slip on the bath tub and the rubber mat was given at the last night of our stay.

Wonderful
Lobby was beautiful, food & coffee was very good , staff was friendly , great location, comfortable bed, city view room had a great view
Room could have been nicer for a 4 star hotel , nothing wrong with it, but I have stayed at other 4 star Hiltons in New York which had a little nicer room

Very Poor
The location and view
Hotel room overpriced and, dirty. Hotel short staffed and not customer friendly. Food was overpriced. Had stayed at hotel for family reunion 15 years ago and loved it. That is why we booked this hotel. Greatly disappointed and will never recommend.

Very Good
The hotel is ranked top in my list of hotels in NYC due to the following reasons:
1 - the location is wonderful new to the UN building and walking distance from all services (groceries, laundry, restaurants, entertainment)
2 - friendly staff: I had a great experience since I arrived at 11:00 and the check-in time was at 16:00. Adina “the receptionist” exceeded my expectations is expediting the process to check me and my friends at 14:00. I really appreciate her high sense of customer service especially when I was flying for more than 15 hours. Thank you Adina
3 - the high security standards in the hotel.
4 - the room I checked-in to was spacious , clean, had nice modern furniture, and a spectacular view of the city
The check-in time is really late @16:00

Disappointing
The lobby is beautiful and the market downstairs is a good amenity. The room was spacious.
The TV in the room is the worst I've seen. It didn't even work for all but one day. They need to replace that entire system as it is completely useless and ruins any nights we wanted to stay in. While the market downstairs is a good amenity, the prices are absolutely absurd. $6 for a soda that you're forcing me to pay for with the $35 mandatory daily credit.

Very Good
The room was large and the beds very comfortable. I also appreciated having a tub. The staff was wonderful!!
I was very upset that I wasn’t told about the $35 daily charge in addition to what Booking.com quoted. They explained that I could use that $35!towards food at the Ambassador Grill or the UN Cafe, but they were quite expensive so I would not normally have my food there. I also wish they had laundry service! I was also sad that it was an 11 minute walk to the nearest subway station.

Very Poor
The staff was incredibly rude at check in. There was an issue with our bookings that required management to get involved as the front staff was not reading through the booking to see that ours was not a standard booking, but negotiated by our employer. We did not receive the $35 credit for the Urban Destination fee which we were entitled to for the first day, and then only because we questioned them about it and required they read the actual booking information.
When the remainder of our party checked in the following day, the manager was snotty and rude saying that we were only using her name to get special treatment because she had spoken with our travel team the previous day. This was blatantly false as our travel team spoke with her directly regarding all travelers’ reservations.
My colleague and I booked the exact same room type (we were on a Teams call sharing screens while we did it), and got different room types, hers costing much more than mine.
My room was gross. The carpet was all ripped up, giant scuffs on the baseboards, carpet stained and dirty. My feet were black from walking around on it.
We’ve requested that this hotel be removed from our preferred hotels list as the experience was so dissatisfying.
