The location was great. The bathroom was clean.
It was such a mediocre room for it's price. You could not change the temperature of the room and the room was very cold. The AC control screen was very dirty and sticky. The floor was very dusty and dirty. They also charged us an extra 100$ during check-in saying half of it was a "destination fee" and the rest is our credit to use during our stay. The check-in staff kept repeating we should use the credit cause the hotel already took the money over and over. I would not have booked this hotel if I knew about the extra charge. It was too expensive and did not meet the expectation. I stayed at much better hotels for longer for a similar price. Will not stay here again.

This is our favorite hotel in New York. The rooms are spacious, the large windows offer great city views, and overall the hotel offers very good value for the price. We also really appreciate the $38 daily credit for the café, which is a great way to start the morning with coffee and something tasty. The staff are consistently friendly, pleasant, and welcoming.

We had stayed at this hotel just a week earlier and had a very positive experience, so we were happy to return. We still like the spacious rooms, the location, and the overall concept of the hotel.
Unfortunately, our second stay was much less positive. We arrived late, around 11:00 PM, expecting to go straight to the two rooms we had booked well in advance. Instead, we were told that there had been a payment issue and that the hotel had only kept one of our two rooms. This was extremely frustrating, especially because the reservation was already non-refundable. If there was a problem with the payment, we do not understand why the hotel did not contact us or wait for the guest who had made the reservation before giving the room to someone else. We were then told that there were no rooms available. After a lot of discussion, we were finally given another room, only to go upstairs and discover that the room was already occupied by another guest. This was a very unpleasant and concerning experience. We had also requested many weeks in advance that our two rooms be located next to each other. Because of the booking problem, we ultimately received a room far away from our children, in a completely different tower of the hotel. By the time this was resolved, it was almost midnight and we had already spent a long time dealing with the issue instead of resting after a long day of travel. The following day, the relatively small lobby was also extremely crowded with guests and luggage, to the point that there was hardly anywhere to sit. Overall, this stay unfortunately damaged the very positive impression we had from our previous visit.
