We picked this hotel for its view and location, and it has far exceeded our expectations. Brandon, who welcomed us at check-in was incredibly kind and thoughtful — even surprising us with a amazing present that made us feel truly special.

Location
Number one for accommodating, United Nations diplomats, there is no room service however there was a phone in the room that had a room service button on it so when I found to get room service, the number rang and rang and rang and rang, so I proceeded to call the front desk and apologize. I’m so sorry for that. I’ll get you right over to room service later finding out that they actually had no room service so what would intelligently think but if you do not have room service, maybe you should remove such phone from such rooms that has a room service button on it. Why would you have a phone in the room that has a room service button however you have no room service and you are accommodating diplomats. It was embarrassing and disgusting. Do not stay here. It is not worth it plus not only charging you $100 extra a day but they also charge you $35 extra a day so make sure you read the fine print. I paid $150 extra just to get in my room early I stayed the exact hotel approximately eight years ago and it’s not the same. Do not spend your money on this hotel. It is not worth it. They are understaffed and their bar restaurant area and no one is paying $60 a person for their nasty breakfast.

The room itself was very spacious and modern. It is clear the hotel bedrooms have been refurbished. The bathroom was wonderful too.
The manager was generally pleasant and friendly.
The hotel lobby was relaxing with a warm ambience.
The staff across the building are just rude, especially at the check in desk. They fail to make eye contact, provide sufficient details unless pressed and make no pleasantries.
Whilst the rooms are clean, don’t look under the bed as it’s clearly never subject to any cleaning!
Also note the $35 daily hotel charge, which can only
be used in the hotel or is lost. Luckily there is a grab & go shop with some good drinks & food options but it’s fairly expensive.

The room was clean and a decent size with a great view. The location was great and the staff were friendly and accomodating.
The window in the room was strangely small and it was clear that the room was somewhat older in terms of fitting and decor.
