I was proposing during this trip and i let the hotel know beforehand. I asked if we could get a room with the view of the city, the empire state in particular. They provided us with a corner room on the 39th floor which had the most spectacular view of the city, plus tha added bonus of another huge window over looking the Hudson river. 10/10

Poor
Brandon, the guy that was at the front desk the night we checked in. He was very helpful when we had a problem with the first room that was given to us.
I was expecting much more from an Hilton property. The hotel was dirty, the first room we had after the check in was very dirty, the carpet was dirty as well and there were holes in the walls. The room was also close to the restaurant/bar in the 30th floor so all night long we were listening to the hotel staff laughing and walking around. We then decided to go to the reception and ask if they could do something about it. Brandon was very nice and gave us a different room, much quieter one. The problem was the conditions of the floor and the room. The floor is in maintenance so there was dust everywhere. In the room, one of the windows was broken and cracked. So we had to put some pillows to cover it in order for the room to stay warm. Overall It was a very disappointing experience and I won’t stay in this property anymore and I won’t recommend it to anyone else. I actually think this will affect how I see all Hilton property’s from now on.

The hotel was in the perfect location away from all the hustle and bustle of time square but only 15-25 mins walk away from places like times square, Macy's, empire state building, 5th, 6th, 7th avenue and central park. It was so lovely being in a residential area. Everything we needed was only a short walk away. The hotel was very clean and tidy, all the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Our room was lovely and large in size and had a fabulous view of the East River. We will be definitely returning, next time we are in New York. The beds in the room were so so comfy, and the lovely hot shower was amazing as well.
We are animal lovers and the sign outside the front door says about gigs in site to stroke and rub their tummies, out of our six night stay there were two security with their dogs that very very arrogant and off when we asked if we could stroke their dogs all the other security officers night day with their labradors were so nice and friendly even giving advice in where to go locally for food and you could see how much they lived their dogs with how their dogs reacted to fuss. That is my only fault with our time spent at this hotel.
