I loved the people very much. All were kind, helpful and attentive.
Unfortunately the end of our time and trying to get to the amtrak train was hell. I waited with my daughter on the 31st floor for 45 minutes watching over packed elevators go by. We called downstairs and no help was sent as we explained we were going to miss our train. I know for a fact at least 2 elevators weren't running because we never saw those doors open as we did at least 15 elevators that we couldn't get on. At this point my daughter started crying and I was close to.

Great location near Times Square, spacious rooms for New York standards, and good value for money compared to other hotels in the area. The view from the higher floors is also very nice.
The room amenities were quite basic. Small conveniences such as a coffee maker, drinking glasses and similar useful amenities were missing

Good location, larger room than many others in area. Staff were pleasant. Mattress very nice.
Room 3711. Shower drain covered with a matted clump of hair before we even used it. Received details of the ongoing renovations less than 72 hours before our visit, limiting our options to look elsewhere (well played). Elevator situation on Saturday Aug 29 between 10 and 11 a.m. was madness. Of the 5 elevators, only ever saw 2 open on our floor and whether going up or down they were already full. Many ended up walking down 37 stories from our floor. We waited over 30 minutes before able to get one on the way up with room. Room was entered and cleaned despite Do Not Disturb sign on Sunday Aug 30. No fridge in room in 2026 for $250+ a night is crazy.

Property has an excellent location in the heart of manhattan very close to Times Square and within walking distance to many attractions Very nice and friendly staff, welcoming with a smile The room size is acceptable and it’s clean
The room has no good sound isolation, specially on weekends it can get pretty loud and disturbing There is no water kettle or coffee machine as mentioned in the description The entrance to hotel is through back door due to construction work in the hotel, you are only informed about that after you complete the payment (they send you a message that they can refund you if you decide not to stay) and difficult to find specially on your first visit with your luggage from the airport The hotel is old Over all the location is exceptional, the staff are very friendly and nice which makes up for the downsides of the stay

Proximity to Times Square. It’s right on Times Square.
Reception is via a different suite of elevators to the 7th floor. To access the guest rooms, you must come back to ground floor and use the other side of elevators to go up to the rooms. At 2am, I needed to access my second room where my daughter slept to make sure she takes her medicine. Their room key didn’t work. Having to go down to lobby and up to 7th floor, then down again and back up to the room was quite stressful.
