Location was convenient having 2 x entrances.
The room doesn’t have the bare minimum. No electric kettle, nor a fridge to cool down drinks. Considering the amount of money you pay, you’d expect at least a device that can produce hot water conveniently.

Views from room.
Room didnt have refrigerator and not one microwave throughout whole hotel. For the price of the room a refrigerator and microwave should've atleast been in the room. Will never stay here again

Very central location, at the heart of Times Square. Room size good for NYC standards.
Facilities were outdated, cleaniness very basic. No mini fridge in the room. Double beds were marginally wide enough for two people.

The pictures shown on Booking.com are not accurate. The room we received was very different from the one displayed in the photos when making the reservation. This was disappointing and misleading, as the actual room did not match our expectations based on the advertised images

No parking, nor parking validation, internet service was constantly buffering, there was no microwave on premises. Incomplete room set up.

The location is excellent and within walking distance of many Times Square attractions.
Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. We specifically booked and paid a premium for a "Premier Double Room with Two Double Beds - Ball Drop View" because the view was the entire reason we chose this hotel. We understood the hotel was older, but we accepted that because we wanted the advertised Times Square/Ball Drop View experience.
Upon arrival, we were assigned Room 4207, which had peeling ceiling surfaces and visible mold, including mold in the bathroom. After reporting the issue, we were moved the next day to Room 4704. While the second room was in better condition, it still did not provide the Ball Drop View that we paid for.
In both rooms, the view was far from what was advertised. We were told that the Ball Drop View rooms are essentially first-come, first-served and that because our reservation was made through Booking.com, we were not prioritized for those rooms. If that is the case, the hotel should not sell a specific Ball Drop View room category without clearly informing guests that the view is not guaranteed.
I spent a significant amount of time researching hotels and paid almost $1,000 more for this room category specifically for the view. My family was extremely excited and looking forward to the experience, and we were very disappointed when we never received the room type or view that we booked.
I would not have paid the premium price had I known that the advertised Ball Drop View room could be unavailable upon arrival.

Very Good
Great location and amazing views. The hotel is right next to Times Square and Broadway theatres, which made exploring the city very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful, and housekeeping cleaned the room daily and replenished coffee and water.
However, New York hotels are generally expensive, and the location and service make up for many of the shortcomings.
Cleanliness was average - there was a noticeable layer of dust behind the TV, and the hotel feels a bit dated for the price.
