The location is great and free bottle of water.
Our room was superior but still the room and bathroom was very outdated, the bathroom door closed badly. No slippers, only one dressing gown for 2 guests in the room. No kettle in the room, only coffee machine. To turn off the lights I need to get up because the room was not equipped with automatic shutdown near the bed.

Disappointing
Location was fantastic, very close to Times Square like stated.
For a 4 star hotel this was very poor. Parts of the carpet in the bedroom were missing, curtains weren't connected to the pole. On our second morning the daily house keeping service never came to our room even though we never put the do not disturb sign on. We arrived back at the hotel after exploring all day to a room where the bed was not made, no clean towels left etc. so we had to ask the front desk. Lifts were very slow for the amount of floors / people were staying in the building. There was always a queue in the lobby waiting for the next available lift. The amenities that had been listed on the booking.com website were not in the room, such as the tea / coffee maker although it wasn't too much hassle asking for a kettle. Bathroom very dated and could also do with some TLC.

It was really wonderful especially the housekeeper that we had. She was the sweetest but the receptionist wasn't as friendlywelcome but hey its NEW YORK for ya.
The Receptionist was rude when my husband asked her a question..
