Exceptional
I stayed for one week at Mid Town East street apartment with my family and I can tell for sure that it is the right place to be if you want to stay in Mid Town Manhattan and save some money. The apartment is walking distance from the Empire State building, the flat iron building and Madison park. A little longer walk will take you to Broadway and Times square. The closest subway station is literally behind the corner and can take you everywhere in New York. The host,Maurice, is a real gem. Kind, gentle,extremely correct and really truly helpful.He really had been an added value to our trip with the great help he gave us even before we actually arrived in New York and up to the last second of our stay. The apartment is really central so do not expect quiet nights considering that you will be in New York, the city which never sleep. It was not a problem for us, not even for the smallest kid in the family. The apartment is quite large with an equipped kitchenette a sofa big double bed and a second double bed. We had anything we needed and we were very close to places we went most of the time and still not too far away from places we visited in Bronx, Queens, Coney Island, Brooklyn and downtown. Definitely recommend it especially thanks to Maurice, a very pleasant and reliable host.

Wonderful
The location was excellent, right in Manhattan, walking distance to Grand Central Station and Mid-Town. the neighbourhood is safe and clean. the 2 bedrooms were very spacious and mattress very comfortable. Maurice, the host, was very kind with us. We asked him a few favours and he was very helpful. Easy to find coffeeshops and stores around.
Maybe, the apartment is a bit small for 6 people, but if there are 6 of you, you can still stay comfortably there. At the end of the day you don't go to New York to stay at the hotel.
