The hotel is in a great location, close to Times square and a magical Bryant park. All necessary metro stations are nearby. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good value for money, a little bit of everything but quality ingredients.
Sometimes there is a wait for breakfast, but the lobby is cozy and has books so the wait is not a problem and does not take long.

Great location. We could walk to many attractions and the subway station was a 5 minute walk. Bryant Park is a beautiful park and leas than a 5 minute walk. The staff were great. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is clean.

Fantastic hotel! Modern design, high-tech rooms, and a very attentive team. Being right next to Bryant Park made getting around the city so easy. It’s a true sanctuary of comfort and quiet amidst the hustle and bustle of New York. The cleanliness and high-quality amenities stood out. This will definitely be our home base for all future visits to the city. Highly recommended!

The location was super, the room was small but good enough & clean.
We were on the 3th floor (1st floor with rooms) facing 3 inside walls from adjacent buildings close by. The fan & AC on the roof just outside the bedroom was very noisy. I guess a higher room at the street side would be perfect.

Good size room for New York, very comfortable beds, good size bathroom with big shower cabin. Excellent services throughout hotel, including breakfast , Ron was amazing every day. Location of the hotel very good, close to Times Square and main visiting points. Excellent hotel for families with kids

Location is good, close to Times Square and Bryant Park as well as the subway. The hotel staff was pleasant. The room was spacious and met all of our needs. The elevators are fairly quick. We did not utilize the restaurant downstairs, but it seems popular.

Nice attentive staff, always feel welcomed. Location is very central to Times Square. As close as you’d want to be to that mayhem. Room comes with some nice additions (hair dryer, sleep noise machine)
Rooms are abit on the smaller side. Being close to Times Square, there’s normally a lot of noise from trucks and construction outside that filters through. Also the walls between the rooms are thin. Had a family next to us and could hear practically everything. Wasn’t the greatest for getting to sleep at night. Also this is probably a fire regulation for the room doors, but they slam pretty hard, so if someone is going in n out of their room, prepare to hear it since the hallways are small.

I loved the convenience to the train station, subway station, and so many places nearby but also feeling like it is off of the beaten path. It was not noisy and the setup of the hotel was cute and like a boutique. K loced the fact we were able to drop off of our luggage before checkin and then receive a text when our room was ready.
I didn't like breakfast not being included. I could have booked it for more money but I wish it was included automatically. I also wish there was signage on the stair doors so you know if they lead outside or not.

The location, easy access to Times Square and public transportation; also taxis can easily park next to the hotel even though it is very central (but on a side street).
The staff was generally helpful, and listened to our small requests such as 'clean only this' or 'could we get new cups and a blanket'. Little touches were appreciated, such as the doorman (a certain Steven Bellman, I think; he left us his card, which I thought was funny :) opening for us or helping with the luggage and calling a taxi.
The room was small and the constant ventilation (cannot be turned off!) made it feel cold even at the warmest setting. The fans in the bathroom were loud and the lights would systematically go out after a bit while showering and we would need to touch the button at the other end of the room to turn them on again. It's fine for a couple but probably awkward for anyone else.
Also worth noting that the pillows were of the higher/thicker kind and they were all the same (you often find both flatter and thicker ones arranged in two rows in hotels but not here). It bothered us a bit (we prefer flatter) but not too much; just something I thought I would mention just in case.
The view from the room, even in our higher/nicer room was nothing to write home about. Being surrounded by many other taller buildings was very much so-so, but I guess it couldn't really be helped in a place like Times Square. If you really care for a good high view though, this is probably not the right hotel for you. There are probably others around with higher floor rooms.
While service was generally good, one thing that we found peculiar and somewhat obnoxious is that the staff refused to refill our water bottles or give us new ones for free. They charged $5 for a new bottle or told us to come down to the ground floor to refill at some tiny water station next to the bar by ourselves. For a hotel in this price range, that was definitely not within expectations.
Ultimately, it was pleasant enough but the downsides were just annoying enough to nudge it down from a 7 to a 6 in my books. (If you read my other reviews, I do NOT hand out 10/10 by default as some other guests seem to do, so a 6 means above average, adjusted for price.)
