The respectful and hardworking doormen and reception staff. I will definitely choose a different hotel for my next stay in New York.
Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
First, the area around the hotel entrance was filthy, with visible drug users and the unpleasant smell of urine. There was scaffolding in front of the hotel, which added to the negative first impression. When we entered the hotel, we expected a lobby, but there was none. Instead, there were just ten chairs placed very close to each other.
The rooms themselves were clean, but the elevator and the restroom on the lower floor, meant for guests arriving or departing, were dirty and smelled bad. We stayed on the 16th floor, and while the room was small and simple, it was clean. The view, however, was disappointing, looking out onto a messy rooftop of a nearby building.
We were also disturbed by noise from the adjacent room, which made it difficult to sleep through the night. Additionally, I was surprised to find no complimentary bottled water in the room, something typically provided as a welcome gesture in most hotels. When we called to ask for water, we were told it would cost $7. The bathroom had a few shampoos and soaps, but there were no toothbrushes or toothpaste. The water pressure in the shower was very low, and despite calling maintenance, the issue was never resolved, which made showering a frustrating experience.
We paid $25 per person for breakfast, which was of very low quality and had limited variety. The woman in charge of the restaurant was noticeably irritable and did not treat customers well during the brief time we were there.
On a positive note, the doormen were very polite and helpful, as were the reception staff, although the reception area was surprisingly small with just two tiny desks.

Location and cleanliness
Perfect location in times square. Almost everything is within walking distance. Front desk checkin fast and on schedule.
Room is very clean. House keeping is handy with all amenities. Beds are super comfy and were made in the way we requested.
The A/C wasn't cool enough for the second night even though we set it at 18.5 Celcius.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We loved our room. It was so spacious, clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet. We didn’t hear any noise from other rooms or from the streets of NYC.

Everything except for way too strong AC.
+++ : The location is extremely great
The AC was way too strong. 18.5° in the room and something similar in the breakfast room. That's not normal to have to wear sweat and pants in the middle of August to eat breakfast.
Breakfast could be slightly better if there were more fruits or vegetables available.

Amazing location just between Bryant Park and Times Square. Quite enough at night, but close enough to the hustle & bustle of NYC’s Times Square. Would definitely look to book again if I ever visit NYC again. If you do stay here, definitely check out Zucker’s Bagels opposite Bryant Park and try Luma’s restaurant, as the food was fantastic.
Beds & pillows were a little too soft for my liking, but that’s a very personal perspective.

We liked the location. Room was very nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Overall a positive experience.
We had our son with us and once his sofa bed was made up, the room got very cramped. We only spent one night there, so this wasn't a problem, but might be a bit cramped if you spend more time there.

Great location, near great Bryant park and on the other hand quiet. Great stuff. We spent 7 amaizing days. We felt very safe in this area.
It was quite cold in hotel/room, not sure why AC is so low (August).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic hotel near Times Square with my family, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and excellent service provided by the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The location of the hotel is unbeatable. Being just steps away from Times Square, I was able to immerse myself in the vibrant energy of New York City. It was incredibly convenient to be so close to major attractions, theaters, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore the city at any time.
Our room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with comfortable beds and all the amenities one could need.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast each morning, which was simply delightful. The selection was vast and catered to all tastes, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and made-to-order omelets. It was the perfect start to my day, and I looked forward to it every morning (thanks Ron ;))
Overall, our experience at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. The combination of its prime location, outstanding service, and delicious breakfast made it the perfect choice for anyone looking to experience the best of New York City. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Big Apple!

THE ROOM WAS THE PERFECT, WITH COMFORTABLE BEDS ( BIGGER THAN EXPECTED) AND A GREAT LOCATION. WE HAD A VIEW OF THE STREET, NOT SO MUCH OF TIMES SQUARE. HOWEVER, THAT WAS OKAY BECAUSE TIMES SQUARE WAS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER. WE ALSO LOVE THE ROBOT THAT CAME TO OUR ROOM WITH GOODIES FOR THE KIDS.

Clean, renovated, well appointed rooms, extremely comfortable bed and luxury linens. We came back late and found we had received turn-down service with the window shades drawn and chocolates on pillows - it was a lovely touch. Even the sofa bed had been set up for us and the mattress and linens on the sofa bed were wonderfully comfortable, too. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location 1/2 block to Bryant Park and near Times Square & theaters.
