A Hidden Gem in the Heart of NYC ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My stay at LUMA Hotel was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful — you can tell they genuinely care about their guests. The room was spotless, super comfortable, and beautifully designed with a modern touch.
But the absolute highlight? The location. Being just steps away from Bryant Park was a dream. I loved being able to walk out and instantly feel the energy of the city, grab a coffee, or just relax in the park.
I’ve stayed at several hotels in New York, and this is hands down one of the best. I would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
I stayed in the Skyline King Bedroom — while the view was nice, it wasn't exactly what I had imagined. Still, the room was beautiful and I really enjoyed my stay.

In May 2025, we spent two wonderful weeks on the 16th floor of the LUMA Hotel, including breakfast. The hotel is ideally located between Bryant Park and Times Square, just steps from the Times Square subway station—making it easy to explore the entire city without transfers. Despite our room facing 41st Street, we heard no street noise. Both the breakfast and room service were excellent. This hotel is definitely worth a return visit—we’d love to stay here again.

Great location. Can see Bryant Park from front door. Around the corner from Times Square but away from the bustle. Very close to many subway lines. Lots of places to eat (casual and fancy) within easy walk. Our kids loved the robot that delivered some things to our room. We’d stay there again.
Restaurant was expensive…not great for our family (didn’t go there).

The perfect hotel for me is extra clean, it is practical, it has thoughtful amenities and it displays extraordinary service.
LUMA Times Square has it all!
Featuring a magnifying mirror, a Dyson hairdryer with all accessories (guys, you need to shout out more about it; for my curly hair, this was a game changer!), a sound machine for easy sleep, a classic handheld shower (hello, hygiene!!), amazing toiletries replenished daily sometimes, and attentive touches all around.
I appreciated the coffee machine in the room and I would gently suggest providing a regular water bottle every day for making coffee, instead of the chic but a little unnecessary personalised aluminium bottles provided just on arrival.
The staff has been genuinely friendly and very accommodating, especially Russell, Deborah and Travis (thank you so much again for that taxi you got for me!), and everyone else whose name I might have missed. Your daily smiles did make a difference!
The breakfast was nice, a bit focused on the carbs. I would welcome an avocado on toast option, boiled or poached eggs and some more fresh cheese and non starchy veggies (cooked or raw). The breakfast coffee was also too watery, but this can definitely be easily improved.
The atmosphere and the friendliness of the breakfast staff really made up for it and that’s what matters.
And hats off to Alina, the cute robot that does minor room service jobs for you. Adorable! :)
Overall, one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in and the best in NY by far.
You can avoid the Times Square jungle by staying on Bryant Park’s side.
The subway was under a minute away.
A CVS and pharmacy around the corner and a Whole Foods just opposite, too.
Thank you for making my stay in NY feel a bit like home.
It’s more of a suggestion:
it would help having a water bottle provided every day to help with the coffee making.
An extra bonus would be having a kettle available in the rooms, too.
A cup of hot tea is many times the best thing when back in your room after a long day, especially as tea sachets were provided.
I had my own travel kettle but this and a bigger tea mug available would considerably upgrade the overall experience.
