I liked the location.
Room was outdated and horrible for a 5 star hotel, no coffee machine or kettle in room. Bath amenities were not there, sub standard for such hotel and price. Breakfast was totally overpriced we pai $200 for breakfast for 2. $12 for coffee is a joke.

The location was great, and there were areas of the main entrance that were pretty. The staff in the cafe and the outdoor holiday area were very nice.
The room was sparse and unimpressive, particularly compared to the cost. We were on the top floor - the view was cool but the novelty was fleeting. The front desk staff were brusque, and we were abruptly told one of the restaurants was “closed” by a waiter immediately after the bartender told us to sit at a table for a menu, which was awkward. In short, I’ve stayed in far better rooms (with just as striking a view but better accommodations) in Manhattan for the same or less money. Just not what you’d expect from a hotel that calls itself a “palace.”

Good location, excellent views y room size
No lobby space really to sit down with family, poor maintenance, overrun by guests, garbage sitting on hallways for hours, bathtub didn’t properly drain.
