Wonderful
I highly recommend this hotel due to its prime location, within walking distance to MSG, and the added convenience of having a restaurant on site, which is a big plus in New York City. The drinks were delicious and the staff were great.
I do want to mention the elephant in the room – or rather, across the street: the construction noise is a real buzzkill, especially for morning sleepers.

The location was ideal. We were close to everything and we felt safe.
The hotel did not have hot water, and we were not able to take showers which was not expected of a hotel at this price point.

I made this reservation for a 2 night stay at Eventi in error on Tuesday 10/14. Despite my search setting of 2 rooms for 2 nights, Booking.com produced the listing of a single room at Kimpton Hotel Eventi for 2 nights, which I mistakenly interpreted as the rate for 2 rooms. Once I saw the confirmation <5 minutes later and realized I had booked a room that was twice my budget, I immediately tried to cancel, and discovered that the cancellation fee was full fare for one night (approx $800!). I contacted Booking.com, who indicated that I would have to request a release from the hotel directly for cancellation fee. So I formally submitted the cancellation and requested to be released from the fee. I also contacted the hotel, where I communicated my desire to cancel and who then transferred me to a billing department where I was put on hold and then hung up on. Imagine my surprise when 24 hours later, I was contacted by Booking.com to say that not only had the hotel denied my request to waive the cancellation fee, but also that I was now also obligated to pay for MY SECOND NIGHT BOOKING AS WELL. I tried immediately to cancel for the second night and was unable to. I understand the policies for Booking.com and for the hotel are intended to protect against damages to them due to late cancellations, but at most we are talking about 5 minutes between my recognizing my mistake and my attempting to cancel. The total penalty for 2 nights of NOT staying at Eventi is now a $1600+ expense, which seems completely disproportionate to the error and any harm that could have been caused. All of this is extremely disappointing, and assures me that I will never use Booking.com again, nor will I stay at a Kimpton hotel either.

Staff was amazing
No room service, maybe coffee in the room would be nice . I was able to come down and get breakfast to go and the coffee bar was wonderful for quick grab and dash.
