The elevators were broken. I had to climb 15 flights of stairs. Plus the would not extend the stay. I called reservations, got a confirmation for the extra night, and then locked us out of our room.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The free bottled water and drinks in our room was a nice touch and were appreciated. The bed was large and very comfortable. The location between 6th and 7th Avenues was good access to subway stations.
I has has specifically booked and paid for a King room with a city view. When we arrived we were given a room that did not have the view. When I questioned this, I was told by the lady at reception that it was because we arrived late and ours was the last remaining room. As I had checked in online as requested 48 hours before, there was no reason for us not to have received the room I originally booked. This was very disappointing.
